STUDENT APPEARANCE. Student Conduct Dress Code (Regulation) In accordance with the policy of the board of education, the following regulation shall establish a dress code. Generally, students should regard neatness and cleanliness in grooming and clothing as important. Dress, hair or grooming which is any way disruptive or offensive to the operation of the school process or offensive to the operation of the school as determined by the administration will not be permitted. Revealing or sexually provocative clothing or clothing of extreme style may not be worn. Pants or shorts will be worn at or above the point of the hips. All fasteners designed for use with an article of clothing will be used at all times with the exception of the top button of the shirt collar. All clothing must be in good repair. If a student’s dress or grooming is objectionable under the above provisions, the principal shall request the student to make appropriate corrections. If the student declines, the principal shall notify the student's parent or legal guardian and take appropriate disciplinary action. Any class time the student misses to change clothing will be counted as an unexcused tardy or absence. Students who violate provisions of the dress code and who refuse to correct the violation may be disciplined. In extreme cases, students may be suspended until the violation is corrected. STUDENT APPEARANCE. Students are expected to dress in a way that is appropriate for the school setting. Students should not dress in a manner that is dangerous to the health and safety of anyone or interferes with the learning environment or teaching process in our school. Following is a list of examples of attire that will not be considered appropriate, such list is not exclusive and other forms of attire deemed inappropriate by the administration may be deemed inappropriate for the school setting:
STUDENT APPEARANCE. Hair – hair must be either SHORT ENOUGH to be above the collar of the Marching Uniform or LONG ENOUGH to pull up into the hat. Facial Hair – Boys must be clean shaven for all performances, including sideburns. Jewelry/Makeup All visible piercings must be removed – they may not be covered up. NO JEWELRY – NO NAIL POLISHNO EXCEPTIONS BAND “WHITES” All Marching Band students must have band “whites” (see below) to wear under the Marching Uniform – they are required for fittings and performances. These items are purchased, owned and cared for by each Marching Band student. All but socks will be purchased through the band. Purchasing 3-packs of socks will ensure the student has clean socks for days and weeks with multiple performances – the socks should be long black nylon or nylon-blend socks – NO LOGO.

  • Appearance The Employee must appear at the Employer’s desired workplace at the time scheduled. If the Employee does not appear, for any reason, on more than separate occasions in a 12-month calendar period the Employer has the right to terminate this Agreement immediately.   • Court Appearances If an employee is subpoenaed to appear as a witness in a job-related court case, not during the employee’s regularly assigned shift, the employee shall be credited for actual time worked, or a minimum of two and one-half hours, whichever is greater.

  • Quality All products will be new and unused. All products provided by the Contractor must meet all federal, state, and local standards for quality and safety requirements. Products not meeting the requirements of this section will be deemed unacceptable and returned to the Contractor for credit at no charge to the State.

  • Fitness for Duty When question exists related to appropriate leave administration or work safety to individuals, co-workers or others, the EMPLOYER may require employees to undergo a medical evaluation that will enable the EMPLOYER to determine the employee’s fitness for performance of his/her duties. When the EMPLOYER requires an evaluation or report from a medical authority, either the employee’s personal or treating authority or the medical authority of the EMPLOYER’s selection, the EMPLOYER shall:
