Special Clothing. The Individual Employer shall furnish rubber clothing, boots, safety hats, or any other special gear required at no expense to the Employees. Such equipment shall be returned to the Employer in the same condition subject to reasonable wear and tear.
Special Clothing. 27.01 It shall be compulsory for all employees to wear approved safety boots at all times while at work for the Employer. Safety hats, eye and hearing protection shall be required on designated projects.
27.02 The Employer shall supply at no cost to the employee "GREEN LABEL" safety boots, safety hats, gloves and waterproof wearing apparel as required in the discretion of the Employer. The employee may by separate arrangement with the supplier, upgrade the footwear at his/her own expense.
27.03 Each employee shall receive an annual clothing allowance in lieu of issue of any additional clothing except as noted in this section in the amount of one hundred and thirty ($130.00) dollars to be paid in the first week of March.
Special Clothing. (a) Proper gloves shall be provided for garbage pickup and sanitary employees.
(b) Survey vests shall be provided for the survey crews. Coveralls shall be provided for the Mechanics, Carpenters, Sewage Treatment Plant Operators, Waterworks, Patching, Road Marking and Cement Finishing crews.
(c) Other special clothing will be provided by mutual agreement.
Special Clothing. Where the Employer requires employees to wear special clothing (i.e., uniforms), the Employer will provide such clothing without charge, and agrees to maintain and clean such clothing.
Special Clothing. The policy of the employer is to provide to the employee a business branded shirt for a $50.00 uniform deposit as wage deduction and to be refunded on termination of employment.
Special Clothing. When required by the Insured as a result of a covered Accident and deemed essential and referred from a Physician, we cover the cost up to the amount stated in the Schedule of Maximum Benefits for special protective clothing.
Special Clothing. The Corporation will maintain a supply of protective clothing such as rubber gloves and coveralls that may be used for other than regular caretaking duties on the employees behalf for employees in the Recreation Maintenance Department.
Special Clothing. (a) Where the nature of a task assigned to an employee requires the use of special equipment or clothing, such special equipment and/or special clothing will be provided by the Company. All safety equipment supplied shall be used and worn in a manner prescribed by law.
(b) Suitable apparel contributes to both the safety and efficiency of operations in the plant. DDM will provide each employee with uniforms as required (in accordance with the DDM Uniform Policy) and all employees are required to wear these uniforms while at work.
(c) The Company will assist employees in the purchase of safety shoes if replacement is required, as outlined below:
(i) Effective August 1, 2002 up to $ 130.00 per pair Effective August 1, 2003 up to $ 140.00 per pair Effective August 1, 2004 up to $ 150.00 per pair
(ii) with respect to persons employed in all departments other than paint or maintenance department, they will be provided assistance toward the purchase of one (1) pair of safety shoes per year if required, payable on the employee’s anniversary date: and
(iii) with respect to employees employed in the Paint department and other areas where shoes are subject to an unusually harsh working environment, the said assistance will be provided toward the replacement of each pair, replacement determined as required.
(iv) with respect to persons employed in Maintenance, they will be provided with assistance toward the purchase of up to two (2) pairs for safety shoes per year if required: and
(v) in order to determine whether replacement is required, all damaged shoes must be returned prior to the payment of said assistance.
Special Clothing. By the beginning of the school year, the Board shall provide over garments for shop instructors and teacher aides who must cover normal classroom attire in areas where there is danger of burning, oil splash, paint or other chemicals which may damage their classroom attire. Custodians will be provided with three (3) long sleeve shirts, two (2) short sleeve shirts, and two (2) pairs of long pants. Custodians shall be responsible for the care and maintenance of their uniform. Uniforms must be worn at all times while on duty in the District. Coveralls will be provided at the building for use when needed.
Special Clothing. Where Coles requires a team member to wear any protective or special clothing such as a uniform, dress or other clothing then Coles will reimburse the team member for any cost of purchasing such clothing and the cost of replacement items, when replacement is due to normal wear and tear. This provision will not apply where the special clothing is supplied and/or paid for by Coles.
