Summary Of The Work. 1.1.1 The Work to be accomplished in accordance with these Contract Documents consists of furnishing superintendence, skilled and unskilled labor, material, equipment and all other items necessary for the project as described in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall perform all work required for such construction in accordance with these Contract Documents and subject to the terms and conditions of the Contract, complete and ready to use. 1.1.2 All work under this contract shall be constructed in accordance with the lines and grades shown on the Plans or approved Shop Drawings or as directed by the Project Manager. Summary Of The Work. The scope of work for projects contemplated by the City of Pittsburgh under this Pre-Qualified contract could include (but are not limited to) the supply and installation/maintenance and rehabilitation/repair/renovation of interior and/or exterior elements of work as needed at various facilities wholly or partially owned by the City of Pittsburgh, and located within its limits. Generally, said facilities consist of fire stations, police stations, parks, recreational neighborhood facilities, City offices and other miscellaneous buildings and/or properties. “Elements of Work” include, but are not limited to new buildings, interior renovations and additions, as well as exterior rehabilitation such as: grading, excavation, demolition, general construction, steps, railings, trees, shrubs, seed, sod, timber, general landscaping including all related services and materials, masonry, paving, fencing, any related heating, venting, air conditioning, plumbing, lighting, power and other electrical services, and miscellaneous site- work [i.e. play equipment, skate board facilities, boat docks, etc.].

Summary Of The Work. A. The work includes the construction of a 654,408sf concrete tilt-up building. The new construction shall include a steel roof structure with wood decking, a 154,000sf mezzanine, tilt-up concrete walls, a 4-ply built-up roof with related site work.
Summary Of The Work. The work shall include the construction of a ±217,620 SF warehouse shell building located in Summerville, South Carolina based on the site drawings prepared by Xxxxxx & Xxxxxx Engineering dated July 26, 2016 and the preliminary architectural site plan prepared by Clarius Partners, Scheme 9B, dated June 6, 2016, included herein as part of Exhibit A-1. 1. The base shell building roof system shall consist of a mechanically-attached TPO roof membrane over R-20 polyiso insulation. 6. The concrete floors shall be 6”, 4,000-PSI unreinforced concrete bearing on a minimum of 4” of granular structural fill. Design shall be for a 500 PSF floor slab.

More specifically, this project will launch 18 demonstrators across Greece, Spain and Portugal covering 9 crops (olives, peaches, cotton, pistachio, potatoes, table tomatoes, industrial tomatoes, grapes, kiwi) in various terrain and microclimatic conditions. They will demonstrate an innovative method, based on high-end technology, which is suitable for being replicated and will be accessible and affordable to Farmers either as individuals or collectively through Agricultural Cooperatives. Moreover, LIFE GAIA Sense aims to promote resource efficiency practices in SMEs of the agricultural sector and eventually, contribute to the implementation of the Roadmap to a Resource Efficient Europe. This project will demonstrate a method on how the farmer will be able to decide either to use or avoid inputs (irrigation, fertilizers, pesticides etc.) in a most efficient way, without risking the annual production. The focus is on the resource consumption reduction side of CE, and the results will be both qualitatively and quantitatively, considering the resources’ efficiency in agricultural sector.

  • Completion of the Work The Contractor must obtain Material Completion as defined in Section 6.1.2 below prior to any occupancy of the Project.

  • Cost of the Work The sum of all allowable costs necessarily incurred and paid by Contractor in the proper performance of the Work.

  • Project Schedule Construction must begin within 30 days of the date set forth in Appendix A, Page 2, for the start of construction, or this Agreement may become null and void, at the sole discretion of the Director. However, the Recipient may apply to the Director in writing for an extension of the date to initiate construction. The Recipient shall specify the reasons for the delay in the start of construction and provide the Director with a new start of construction date. The Director will review such requests for extensions and may extend the start date, providing that the Project can be completed within a reasonable time frame.
