This agreement is entered into pursuant to Chapter 10.7, Sections 3540-3549 of the Government Code. This Agreement shall remain in full force and effect from July 1, 2018 until June 30, 2021.

Summer School and Extended. School Year calendars and schedules will be developed by the District, based on student need, and will include the options for distance learning, hybrid and in-person instruction.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.

  • Xxxxx, Haldimand, Norfolk An employee shall be granted five working days bereavement leave with pay upon the death of the employee’s spouse, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, legal guardian, grandchild or step-grandchild.

  • Summer Session A. All ASEs employed in the Summer Session shall receive the same general range adjustment as ASEs received in the preceding Fall term. B. The following articles apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session: Recognition, Wages (range adjustment only), DCP, Travel, Health and Safety, Leaves, Holidays, Duration, Workspace and Instructional Support, Parking, Grievance and Arbitration, Waiver, Management and Academic Rights, No Strikes, Non-Discrimination, Union Access and Rights, Union Security, Discipline and Dismissal, Emergency Layoff, Employment Files and Evaluations, Definitions, Severability, Labor-Management Meetings, and Classifications. C. The remainder of the articles in the agreement does not apply to ASEs who are employed in the summer session. D. The topic of Summer Session, and effects of changes on terms and conditions of employment for ASEs employed in Summer Session, shall be reopened for bargaining commencing no later than January 2, 2001.

  • University Any notice may be served upon the University by delivering it, in writing, to the University at the address set forth on the last page of this Agreement, by depositing it in a United States Postal Service deposit box with the postage fully prepaid and with the notice addressed to the University at the aforementioned address, or by sending a facsimile of it to the University facsimile number set forth on the last page of this Agreement.

  • Professional and Education Leaves (a) Leave of absence with pay or without pay may be granted to employees to attend professional and educational meetings, courses, or other events which may be judged beneficial to the employee's professional development, especially as it relates to her responsibilities with the Employer.

  • THE ACADEMY The Academy is a Mainstream Academy as defined in clause 1.4 of the Master Agreement.

  • Special Situations XXXXXXX BENEFICIARY agrees to inform AGENCY within one (1) business day of any circumstances or events which may reasonably be considered to jeopardize its capability to continue to meet its obligations under the terms of this Agreement. Incidents may include, but are not limited to, those resulting in injury, media coverage or public reaction that may have an impact on the AGENCY’S or GRANTEE BENEFICIARY’S ability to protect and serve its participants, or other significant effect on the AGENCY or GRANTEE BENEFICIARY. Incidents shall be reported to the designated AGENCY contact below by phone or email only. Incident report information shall not include any identifying information of the participant.

  • EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES The State reserves the right to modify the terms of this Contract or any future Periodic Recruitments, to allow for emerging technologies. OGS reserves the right to include such technology(ies) hereunder or to issue a formal modification or amendment to this Contract.

  • TEACHERS AND RESEARCHERS 1. An individual who is a resident of a Contracting State immediately before making a visit to the other Contracting State, and who, at the invitation of any university, college, school or other similar educational institution, visits that other State for a period not exceeding two years solely for the purpose of teaching or research or both at such educational institution shall be exempt from tax in that other State on any remuneration for such teaching or research. 2. This Article shall not apply to income from research if such research is undertaken primarily for the private benefit of a specific person or persons.
