Suspected misuse of personal leave. Where Origin suspects an Employee has misused, or is misusing, their entitlement to personal leave, Origin may investigate the circumstances surrounding the absence(s), and take disciplinary action where appropriate. Origin also reserves the right to request that satisfactory evidence (as defined in the NES) be produced in support of all of the Employee’s future personal leave requests. For a prolonged absence or a pattern of absences, an Employee can be required to attend an independent medical examination at Origin’s expense, and the Employee will consent to an independent medical report being provided to Origin for that purpose.
