Common use of Taking Annual Leave Clause in Contracts

Taking Annual Leave. (1) An employee may, on application approved by the Secretary, take annual leave in either of the following ways: (a) at full pay; (b) at half pay (that is, by taking 2 days leave at the rate of one‑half of the normal salary of the employee for every day of annual leave credit).
