Taking Annual Leave. a. Employees must obtain approval from the delegated manager before taking annual leave. Approval will be subject to the business and operational needs of the Company, however, approval will not be unreasonably withheld. b. Where agreement cannot be reached through initial discussions with an employee, the Company may direct an employee to take up to ¼ of their total annual leave if they have accumulated more than 2 years’ accrual of annual leave. In such situations, employees will be given at least 14 days’ notice.
