Teaching Materials and Equipment. A. Employees in the secondary department level and elementary grade level will be asked to compile and submit their budgetary request to the appropriate administrator and shall have the opportunity to review any adjustments with the administrator. After voter approval of the budget for the District, the employees at these levels shall be notified of the final funds approved; and if the approved funds are less than the original request, the employee shall have the opportunity to recommend the areas to be cut.

Teaching Materials and Equipment. The District shall make available in each school building equipment to make copies, a staff lunch room, and staff restrooms. The District recognizes that appropriate curriculum, texts, library reference materials, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, standardized tests and questionnaires, and similar materials are the tools of the teaching profession. Teachers will have access to these materials as needed. Interested members will be allowed to participate in the building budgeting process for the selection of materials and equipment with the results reported to staff. These meetings are necessary and will begin during the work day and may extend beyond the regular work day. These budget meetings will be without additional compensation.

  • Materials and Equipment ‌ Material means property that may be consumed or expended during performance, component parts of a higher assembly, or items that lose their individual identity through incorporation into an end item. Equipment means a tangible item that is functionally complete for its intended purpose, durable, nonexpendable, and needed for performance. Materials and Equipment shall be priced in accordance with the terms of the task order award, contract type, and applicable FAR and agency-specific regulatory supplements. Unless otherwise directed by task order terms and conditions, the Contractor may apply indirect costs to materials and equipment consistent with the Contractor’s usual accounting practices.

  • Services, Materials, and Equipment Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall provide and assume full responsibility for all services, materials, equipment, labor, transportation, construction equipment and machinery, tools, appliances, fuel, power, light, heat, telephone, water, sanitary facilities, temporary facilities, and all other facilities, incidentals, and services necessary for the construction, performance, testing, start-up, inspection and completion of the Work.

  • Materials and Improvements Title to materials, improvements, and other property required of PURCHASER by this contract shall vest in and become the property of STATE at the time such are furnished by PURCHASER and accepted by STATE. Only materials, improvements, and property free and clear of liens, claims, and encumbrances shall be furnished by PURCHASER. All existing improvements located on State land, and any improvements placed on State land by PURCHASER which become the property of STATE, shall be safeguarded by PURCHASER. If such improvements are injured, damaged, or removed from the areas of operations by PURCHASER or by contractors of PURCHASER, such improvements shall be repaired (or replaced, in the event of removal,) as soon as possible by PURCHASER, without cost to STATE.

  • MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP Unless otherwise specified, all materials and equipment incorporated in the work under the Contract shall be new. All workmanship shall be first class and by persons qualified in the respective trades.

  • Equipment and Materials Contractor at its sole cost and expense shall provide and furnish all tools, labor, materials, equipment, transportation services and any other items (collectively, "Equipment") which are required or necessary to perform the Services in a manner which is consistent with generally accepted standards of the profession for similar services. Notwithstanding the foregoing, District shall not be responsible for any damages to persons or property as a result of the use, misuse or failure of any Equipment used by Contractor of the Contracted Parties, even if such Equipment is furnished, rented or loaned to Contractor or the Contracted Parties by District. Furthermore, any Equipment or workmanship that does not conform to the regulations of this Agreement may be rejected by District and in such case must be promptly remedied or replaced by Contractor at no additional cost to District and subject to District’s reasonable satisfaction.

  • Solicitations for Subcontractors, Including Procurements of Materials and Equipment In all solicitations either by competitive bidding or negotiation made by the contractor for work to be performed under a subcontract, including procurements of materials or leases of equipment, each potential subcontractor or supplier shall be notified by the contractor of the contractor's obligations under this contract and the Regulations relative to nondiscrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, sex, age, and disability/handicap.

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.
