The basic test and pass mark shall be standardized,the tests shall be relevant to the job at the time of the posting and the test shall be applied uniformly to all candidates. The Company shall in all instances bear in mind the normal trainingperiod for thejob or vacancy. Teamsters Local. The Company and the Local Union recognize the difficulties experienced by the Union in having new employees contact the Local Union office or Shop Xxxxxxx as outline in Article Section of the Labor Agreement. To Facilitate the requirements of Article Section the Company agrees to give each new employee a letter from the Local Union explaining the requirementsto join the Union and an Authorization card prior to the employees first day.
