Technical Writer. Intermediate. [A] Develops, writes, and edits material for reports, manuals, briefs, regulations, policies, and training/education materials. Conducts interviews and/or research necessary. Plans sequence and detail; organizes material; completes writing assignment according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology; and reviews published materials and recommends revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding. May perform all of the following tasks: maintain records and files of work and revisions; select photographs, drawings, sketches, diagrams, and charts to illustrate material; assist in laying out material for publication; coordinate publication, duplication and distribution of material; write speeches, articles, and public or employee relations releases; and edit, standardize, or make changes to material prepared by others. Minimum experience: 6 years of related work experience.
Technical Writer. The duties assigned to the individual in this positions will include but are not limited to writing, editing and re-writing manuscript copy for reference manuals, operations manuals, operations manuals, user manuals and programming manuals. Coordinates with programmers and software engineering to acquire or verify knowledge of subject. Oversees preparation of illustrative material, selecting drawings, sketches, diagrams and charts. May assist in preparation and layout of work publication.
Technical Writer. Addressed to all employees covered by the Agreement at the point who, as a minimum meet the requirements of Article 4.05.16. Selection will be in accordance with Article 16.11.05 and Letter of Understanding No.
Technical Writer. Must be knowledgeable in computer technology in order to update documentation and instructions for equipment operated by the Company and perform associated duties as required.
Technical Writer. Assists the fleet manager for the production of customized maintenance job cards when needed. Ensures the job cards are kept in line and current with new revisions of manufacturer’s documents. Updates and rectifies job cards as required and actions feedback from line or hangar maintenance on job cards content.
Technical Writer. Microsoft shall provide a technical writer to review and edit the White Paper for the three (3) Initial Scripts. Such technical writer shall be provided upon the delivery of the drafts of the White Paper as required in Section 2.1 above.
Technical Writer. Writes and edits technical documentation. Complete understanding of English language grammatical standards as well as sentence structure requirements for this type of writing. Excellent written communication skills used to craft a range of written products (information papers, briefings, training guides, brochures, letters, syllabi, etc) that (depending on the target market) are likely to be well-received by a military audience and/or able to communicate clearly to a non-military audience regarding military operational issues, programs and benefits. Base Requirements: Associates degree. 5+ years of experience. Preferred Requirements: Technical proficiency in issues related to military rank structure; military correspondence/communications/public affairs considerations; and military customs and courtesies.
