Temporary Filling of Vacancy. Nothing in this Article shall be construed to limit or prevent the Employer from temporarily filling a vacant or newly created position for up to one hundred – twenty (120) days without following the above procedures. The Sheriff agrees that if a vacant or newly created position needs to be temporarily filled, that a member of the Bargaining Unit shall be used for that purpose.
