Temporary Worker Day Rate. 2.2.1 The Temporary Worker Rate Card applicable at the Commencement Date is set out in Annex C to this Schedule. As part of its Framework Agreement management function the Authority shall update the Temporary Worker Rate Card in accordance with this paragraph 2.2. The Authority shall determine a Maximum Rate and a Target Rate for those roles specified in Annex C of this Schedule. The Service Provider shall run competitions to fulfil Contracting Bodies’ Requisitions in such a way that savings can, where possible, be made against the Target Rate.

Temporary Worker Day Rate. 2.2.1 The Temporary Workers Day Rates shall be controlled by the use of the following regional rate cards (as amended from time to time in accordance with the Framework Agreement) which are set out in Schedule 1 Rates for Inner London and Outer London should take account of the London living wage: Inner London; Outer London; West Midlands; South West; South East; North West; North East; Yorkshire & Humberside; East Midlands; East; Wales; Northern Ireland and Scotland.

  • Temporary Layoffs A. The Employer may initiate a temporary layoff for up to twelve (12) working days per fiscal year. Employees will be given thirty (30) days’ notice before the effective date of a temporary layoff. Employees may request alternative temporary layoff days from their manager or supervisor and any requests will be considered and approved or denied in writing.

  • Temporary Layoff The Employer may temporarily layoff an employee for up to ninety (90) days due to an unanticipated loss of funding, revenue shortfall, lack of work, shortage of material or equipment, or other unexpected or unusual reasons. An employee will normally receive seven (7) days notice of a temporary layoff.

  • Temporary Leave Teachers who are members of UTW, at the request of UTW, shall be granted leave to participate in certain UTW activities subject to and in accordance with policies of the Board and administrative guidelines.

  • Temporary Living Expenses An employee shall be entitled to reimbursement for meals and lodging for up to twenty (20) working days, as provided by procedures of the Department of Administrative Services, following a transfer initiated by the Employer.

  • Temporary Military Leave An employee who is a member of the reserve corps of the Armed Forces of the United States or of the National Guard or of the Naval Militia shall be granted a Temporary Military Leave while engaged in military duty ordered for the purposes of military training, drills, encampment, naval cruises, special exercises or like activity as such member providing that the period of ordered duty does not exceed one hundred eighty (180) calendar days including time involved in going to and returning from such duty.

  • Temporary Upgrading (a) In the event that an employee is temporarily transferred to a higher classification than that to which the employee is regularly assigned, he or she shall be paid at the normal wage scale for such higher classification during the period of such transfer for not less than a full tour of duty.
