Termination of Seniority - Seniority and Bargaining. Unit employment relationships shall be terminated when an employee voluntarily resigns, leaves a position covered by the bargaining agreement, is discharged for just cause, retires or is retired, quits, is laid off for a period in excess of two (2) years or the length of service of the employee, whichever is less.
