Tool Allowance (Tradespeople. A tool allowance shall be payable to all tradespersons who are required to supply and use their own tools at the rate of $20.40 per week. Tools, as per the Mechanical and Electrical Tools list as contained in Appendices 1 & 2, shall be provided by Cement Australia for apprentices upon commencement of their apprenticeship with Cement Australia. Tradespersons will supply their own tools up to 24mm AF. The Tools List in Appendices 1 & 2 provides a guideline for recommended tools upon commencement of employment with Cement Australia. Tradespersons shall maintain and replace the tools in a safe condition. All other tools, portable power tools, special tools will be provided by Cement Australia. On separation from Cement Australia, all tools supplied by the Company shall be returned to the Team Leader.

(b) Tools, as per the Mechanical and Electrical Tools list as contained in Appendices 1 & 2, shall be provided by the Employer for apprentices upon commencement of their apprenticeship with the Employer. (c) Tradespersons will supply their own tools up to 24mm and 15/16 AF. (d) The Tools List in Appendices 1 & 2 provides a guideline for recommended tools upon commencement of employment with the Employer. (e) Tradespersons and apprentices shall maintain and replace the tools in a safe condition. (f) All other tools, portable power tools, special tools will be provided by Cement Australia. (g) On separation from the Employer, all tools (other than initial tool kit supplied to apprentices) supplied by the Employer shall be returned to the Team Leader.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Education Allowance Provisions in existing Collective Agreements providing for educational allowances shall be continued in effect.

  • First Aid Allowance An employee who has been trained to render first aid and who is the current holder of appropriate first aid qualifications such as a certificate from the St. John's Ambulance or similar body shall be paid a weekly allowance of $11.50 if appointed by their employer to perform first aid duty.

  • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Meal Allowance A shift worker who works a qualifying shift of eight hours or the rostered shift, whichever is the greater, and who is required to work more than one hour beyond the end of the shift (excluding any break for a meal) shall be paid a meal allowance of $7.95, or, at the option of the employer, be provided with a meal.
