Trade Promotion. The Parties agree to establish trade promotion programmes to facilitate the activities of official and private trade missions, the organisation of fairs and exhibitions, the continuous exchange of information, market studies and other activities leading to the optimal utilisation of the preferences of the liberalisation programme, and the opportunities offered by the trade measures agreed on.
Trade Promotion. 1. In order to attain the objectives of the Community set out in sub-paragraph 2 (m) Article 4 of this Treaty, Member States agree to undertake the trade promotion activities stated below in the following areas:
(a) Intra-Community Trade
(i) Promote the use of the Community's local materials, intermediate goods and inputs, as well as finished products originating within the Community;
(ii) Adopt the All-Africa Trade Fair of the OAU, as an instrument of the Community trade promotion;
(iii) Participate in the periodic fairs organised under the auspices of the All-Africa Trade Fair of the OAU, sectoral trade fairs, regional trade fairs and other trade promotion activities of the Community;
(iv) Develop an intra-community trade information network, linking the computerised trade information systems of existing and future regional economic communities and individual Member States of the Community; and
(v) With the assistance of the Secretariat, study the supply and demand patterns in Member States and disseminate the findings thereon within the Community.
(b) South-South Trade
(i) Promote the diversification of Africa's markets, and the marketing of Community products;
(ii) Participate in extra-community trade fairs, in particular, within the context of South-South Co-operation; and
(iii) Participate in extra-community trade and investment fora.
(c) North-South Trade
(i) Promote better terms of trade for African commodities and improve market access for Community products;
(ii) Participate as a group in international negotiations within the framework of GATT and UNCTAD and other trade-related negotiating fora.
2. The modalities of organising trade promotion activities and trade information systems of the Community shall be governed by a Protocol concerning Trade Promotion.
Trade Promotion. The Member States shall adopt measures designed to promote trade within the Common Market. In this regard, Member States shall:
(a) ensure the development and dissemination of market intelligence and trade information with a view to providing the widest possible knowledge-base of intra-Common Market trade opportunities and encourage the development of exports and markets to meet the public and private procurement needs;
(b) actively encourage the undertaking of supply and demand surveys, the organisation of buyers and sellers meetings and other multi-country contact promotion events in order to further identify and exploit the potential of intra-Common Market trade;
(c) undertake the removal of measures that have been identified during the market surveys, which restrict the flow of goods and services to their identified markets, including the establishment of agency offices, trade missions, free movement of samples and advertising;
(d) identify the possibilities of product adaptation and diversification to broaden their respective export base with a view to expanding or introducing products to new markets in the Member States;
(e) review and initiate programmes for the rationalisation and improvement of import operations and techniques to ensure that savings will accrue from such rationalisation of purchase operations;
(f) seek to ensure that donor-funded import procurement programmes allow as far as possible for the purchase of goods from other Member States;
(g) organise frequent general and specialised trade fairs;
(h) improve the performance of small-and-medium scale enterprises for export development such as marketing, business management and the provision of credits;
(i) promote export-oriented joint ventures, by encouraging and facilitating enterprise-toenterprise contacts;
(j) support privatisation endeavours through the introduction of trade services or improvement of the trade promotion infrastructure to meet the special requirements of privatised companies; and
(k) encourage the improvement of services relating to trade such as export financing, quality control and standardisation, packaging and specification aspects, warehousing and storage operations, and others that will increase the flow of goods within the Member States.
Trade Promotion. The employer and the Union agree to promote the Electrical Industry to the benefit of the employer and the I.B.E.W. employees. Such promotion may include use of the I.B.E.W. label when and where practical.
Trade Promotion the Parties shall cooperate in promoting trade and investment activities through government agencies or other bodies. Such cooperation may include, but is not limited to, organizing trade and investment promotion activities, such as trade and investment missions, regular business seminars and fora.

The Parties agree to establish trade promotion programmes, facilitate official and business missions, organize trade fairs and exhibits, exchange information, conduct market research projects, and carry out any other activities related to the implementation of the liberalization programmes and, in particular, the opportunities arising from the trade measures agreed upon herein.
2. Each Party agrees to promote the involvement of its business sector in the pursuance of the objective of this Agreement. For this purpose, the Parties shall explore the possible establishment of a CARICOM-Cuba Business Council that reviews business opportunities, furnishes information and promotes trade.
Trade Promotion. The Parties shall establish joint programmes for trade promotion covering, inter alia, exhibitions, fairs and exhibitions, as well as meetings and reciprocal visits entrepreneurs and information on supply and demand and market studies.
Trade Promotion. Article 19. the Parties to this Agreement, concluded of trade promotion programmes, inter alia, exhibitions, fairs and exhibitions, as well as meetings and reciprocal visits entrepreneurs, information on supply and demand and market studies. Furthermore, the signatory countries, undertake to facilitate participation in fairs, by streamlining administrative procedures.
Trade Promotion. The Parties agree to:
(i) establish trade promotion programmes;
(ii) facilitate the activities of official and private trade missions;
(iii) organise fairs and expositions; and
(iv) p romote the continuou s exchange of information, xxxx e t s tu d ie s an d a c t ivi t ie s le a d i n g t o th e maximum utilisation of opportunities offered by the liberalisation of trade between the Parties.
