Transfer to Other Positions. 8.07 In the event a bargaining unit employee is promoted to a non-bargaining unit position, he shall accrue service and seniority and retain the continuous service and seniority previously acquired in the bargaining unit job. This clause shall not apply if the bargaining unit employee is not returned to the bargaining unit within twelve (12) months from such promotion or reclassification.
Transfer to Other Positions. (i) When a redundant employee transfers to another position for which the rate of pay is higher than the position previously held the employee will receive the higher rate upon taking up the position.
Transfer to Other Positions. 34.4.1 When a redundancy nominated employee transfers to another position for which the wage rate is higher than the position previously held the employee will receive the higher rate upon taking up the position.

If an employee is or has been transferred to a position which is outside of the bargaining unit as defined herein, said employee shall retain his seniority and continue to accumulate seniority for a period of six (6) months; if during this six (6) month period the employee is transferred back to the bargaining unit, the said employee shall retain all accumulated seniority.
