TRANSIT TIME. 46.1) Timely delivery is the essence of the contract. The transit time shall be reckoned based upon average run/day as under, inclusive of time taken to clear obstructions and RTO formalities en-route.
TRANSIT TIME. The maximum acceptable delivery period (Transit Time) is 10 days. The consignment entrusted to the transporter must be delivered & stacked at destination warehouse/ installations assigned as per GR / LR Note, within the maximum permissible transit period (excluding holidays, if they fall at the due delivery date). The delivery period (Transit Time) will be calculated from the next date of invoice to date of delivery. Any delay in the delivery beyond the permissible transit period will attract late delivery penalty @ Rs 2000 Per Day. If the date of receipt falls on Sunday / closed holidays / local holiday (as per the declaration submitted by the respective Branch / Zonal office) the next day will be treated as reporting day and no delay penalty/ detention will be applicable for that day.
TRANSIT TIME. 16.1 Any transit times provided by Carrier are indicative only. Customer shall not hold Carrier liable for any delays based on any transit time given by Carrier.

TRANSIT TIME. If called to multiple venues over the duration of one day, ARTISTS shall be allowed reasonable travel time not to be counted against break and meal time.
TRANSIT TIME. (a) FORWARDER and CARRIER may make agreements on each shipment as to required transit time. In the absence of an agreement between the parties, “reasonable dispatch” shall be the applicable transit time.
TRANSIT TIME. Artists shall be given reasonable transit time when required to change locations within the Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx Pavilion. When changing rehearsal venues, additional transit time shall be added as follows: LA Shakespeare Festival 15 minutes LAO Costume Shop 15 minutes At AGMA’s request, AGMA and LAO shall meet and confer about required transit time to any other off-site venues. The meeting shall take place at least 6 weeks before the beginning of the rehearsal period. If the venue is identified less than 6 weeks before that date, the meeting shall take place within one (1) week of the venue being secured. Additional transit time does not count towards the maximum break span between two services. No transit time shall be considered part of a rest period or rehearsal break. Additional transit time does not apply between stage level and dressing room levels.
TRANSIT TIME. Avg. in transit time not to exceed six (6) days from cargo receipt date by CT It is understood and agreed, that CT/TMA will do whatever possible within their control to maintain the avg. transit times mentioned above, however, CT/TMA will not be held responsible for delays caused by forces beyond its control, including, but not limited to Brazilian Customs, U.S. Customs, Strikes, Work Slowdowns, Act of War, Weather, Mechanical problems, and/or incomplete or incorrect customs documents issued by the factory. TRANSIT TIME. The BROKER and the CARRIER may make agreements on each shipment as to required transit time. Such agreements may make the transit time obligation less or more than “reasonable dispatch.” In the absence of an agreement between the parties, the following transit time schedule shall apply: (1) on shipments moving less than 500 miles, next day delivery.
(2) on shipments moving more than 500 miles, one day for every increase of 500 miles, or part thereof. (To illustrate: on a shipment moving 2900 miles, delivery shall be made in six (6) days.)
a) CARRIER shall notify BROKER of any TIME delays not protected by Section XIV of this agreement. Any delays not accepted or agreed to by the BROKER shall require CARRIER to bare all costs of delay and reimburse BROKER of any costs associated with said delay. BROKER shall provide CARRIER with invoice of costs of said delay, to be paid within thirty (30) days of receipt.
