Transport and Mileage. (a) While travelling on employer business, the employee will be reimbursed for costs on an actual and reasonable basis on presentation of receipts. (b) The DHB may provide a work related vehicle for the purposes of business travel, and any reimbursement of mileage is for the use of the employee’s private motor vehicle for employer business purposes. (c) Employees who are instructed to use their motor vehicles for the employer actual and reasonable business the employee shall be reimbursed in accordance with the IRD mileage rates as promulgated from time to time. Any change to this rate shall be effective from the first pay period following the date of promulgation by the IRD.
