TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION. (1) Employees shall be required to provide their own transportation to and from their place of employment other than the work locations listed below, where the Employer shall provide transportation between the assembly point and the work location: Subsequent work locations may be added to this list by mutual agreement during the period of this Agreement. (2) Employees travelling between the assembly point and work location as indicated in (a)(1) above shall be compensated in cash for the time spent travelling at the base rate of the employee. This time will not be included in the calculations of hours of work unless the Employer has required the employee or employees to provide security services with respect to the transportation of an inmate or inmates, or any other service on behalf of the Employer. (3) Should the Employer and the Union agree that the condition of a public road is unsuitable for the safe and proper operation of employees' private automobiles and there is no alternative road, the Employer shall arrange transportation for employees if the Employer's heavier vehicles could be used to transport employees to work. (b) Employees called in for an emergency and who use their own vehicles shall be paid mileage allowance for the return journey from their home to the centre. (c) Correctional staff supervising work groups outside the perimeters of security fences/boundaries shall be provided with adequate radio communication devices if normal telephone communication is unavailable. (d) Adequate means of communication shall be provided for employees on "stake-out" and escape duties, and the policy of hourly checks shall be followed.

TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION. The Board shall purchase an automobile and cell phone (or PDA) with appropriate plan for the professional and personal use of the Superintendent during the term of this contract. The Board shall be responsible for insurance and all operation and maintenance expenses on the automobile. The Superintendent shall be responsible for all record keeping required by the Internal Revenue Service. In addition, the Board shall directly pay on behalf of or reimburse the Superintendent for any and all out-of- pocket expenses incurred relating to the operation of the school district.   • APPROVAL OF GENERAL COMMUNICATIONS Competitive Supplier shall cooperate with and assist the Town in the drafting and sending of messages and information to Eligible Consumers concerning the Program or any matter arising under or related to this Agreement or the Program. Competitive Supplier shall, prior to sending any direct mail, advertising, solicitation, bill insert, electronic mail, or other similar written or electronic communication (collectively, “General Communications”) to Participating Consumers (but excluding individually drafted or tailored communications responding to a specific complaint or communication of an individual consumer), provide a copy of such General Communication to the Town for its review (for consistency with the Town’s purposes and goals) and approval. The Town shall have the right to disapprove such General Communications and suggest revisions if it finds the communication inconsistent with the purposes and goals of the Town, factually inaccurate, or likely to mislead provided, however, that: (i) the communication shall be deemed approved if the Town fails to respond within ten (10) Business Days, and (ii) no approval shall be necessary for any communication (a) regarding any emergency situation involving any risk to the public health, safety or welfare; (b) that has been approved by the Department, the DOER; or (c) in the nature of routine monthly or periodic bills, or collection notices, except that any bill insert or message included at the bottom of such bill not within the scope of (a) or (b) above shall require advanced review and approval by the Town; and (iii) no approval or lack of approval shall relieve the Competitive Supplier of its obligations and responsibility for its actions and omissions under this Agreement, or other than as set forth in sub-clause ‘i’ of this Section 7.6, result in a waiver of any rights, remedies or defenses of the Town. The Town may reject or exclude any proposed General Communication that, in its reasonable judgment, is contrary to the interests and objectives of the Program or the Town.

  • Fund Communications The Service Provider shall, upon request by the Fund, on each business day, report the number of shares on which the transfer agency fee is to be paid pursuant to this Agreement. The Service Provider shall also provide the Fund with a monthly invoice.

  • Routine Communications All routine communications related to the Contract shall be sent to the Department’s Contract Manager. If any of the Contractor’s contract information changes during the life of the Contract, the Contractor shall notify the Department’s Contract Manager; such updates do not necessitate a formal amendment to the Contract. Communications relating to a Customer contract or purchase order should be addressed to the contact person identified in the contract or purchase order. Routine communications may be my email, regular mail, or telephone.

  • TELEPHONE COMMUNICATIONS Both parties may communicate by telephone, but it is agreed that no instructions that require action will be left on any messaging service since neither party can guarantee that they will be received or actioned.
