TRAVELLING TO AND FROM WORK a) Camping Out Employees shall; be paid two (2) hours at the appropriate overtime rate at the beginning and end of each full week worked to enable them to travel to and from the work site, on the understanding that travelling time in excess of two (2) hours shall be part of the hours of the week, and employees absent on the first or last working day of the week shall not be paid travelling for that day. If an employee does not attend the camp for a full week, special provisions will apply, related to the appropriate two hours overtime paid at the beginning "full week". If travel is in Council's time, if an employee misses a day for any reason, the payment of overtime shall not be paid. If the employee travels out in Council's time with a works supervisor to the site payment will not be made. If the employee travels to the work site in a Council vehicle outside of normal working hours, payment of overtime shall be made at the appropriate over time rate. shall commence work as soon as practicable after arriving on-site.

TRAVELLING TO AND FROM WORK. 7.8 Travelling to and from work safely We will reimburse you or pay for all or part of a journey to or from work if at our initiative you are requested to start or finish work at a time when public transport or your usual or reasonable means of transport is not available and there is a risk to your personal safety. This clause does not apply if you receive an allowance under clauses 7.1 - 7.3 (car allowance and expenses) for the same travel.

  • Early and Safe Return to Work The Hospital and the Union both recognize their obligations in facilitating the early and safe return to work of disabled employees. The Hospital and the Union agree that ongoing and timely communication by all participants in this process is essential to the success of the process.

  • GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS The District has empowered school communities to make decisions at the school level in return for accountability for results. To maximize the likelihood of success, each school must be permitted to implement programs that meet the needs of its students and community. Through a school-based decision-making process, each school will define the staff working conditions necessary for student success. School leadership teams will create and publish annual “school operational plans” which will outline working conditions of staff in the building. Such operational plans will be subject to the Superintendent’s review and approval.

  • Paid Time to Working Time Full-time employees absent on approved leave, paid by the Hospital or by the Workers' Compensation Board, shall for the purposes of computing overtime pay during the work schedule in which the absence occurred, be considered as having worked their regularly scheduled hours during such leave of absence. No pyramiding shall result from the application of this provision. The foregoing shall also apply in cases of short term leaves of absence for Union business approved by the Hospital under the applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement where payment is made to the employee by the Union.

  • Return to Work (a) The parties recognize the duty of reasonable accommodation for individuals under the Human Rights Code of Ontario and agree that this Collective Agreement will be interpreted in such a way as to permit the Employer and the Union to discharge that duty. To that end, the Home and the Union agree to cooperate in complying with the Ontario Human Rights Code.

  • For General Conditions Costs Contractor’s Application for Payment shall be submitted on a Schedule of Values approved by the Owner and include complete copies of all receipts, invoices with check vouchers or other evidence of payment, payrolls, and any and all other evidence which Owner or its designated representatives shall deem necessary to support the amount requested. This information is subject to audit and payment for these costs is dependent on Owner’s receipt of accurate and complete records of all transactions. Owner may reduce the amount requested for General Conditions Costs in any Application for Payment if Owner, in its good faith judgment, determines that the unpaid balance of the General Conditions line item in the Schedule of Values is not sufficient to fund necessary General Conditions Costs for the remainder of the Project.

  • Participating TO Retail Metering The Participating TO may install retail revenue quality meters and associated equipment, pursuant to the Participating TO’s applicable retail tariffs.
