Tribal Communities and Organizations. Contractor shall regularly assess (e.g. review population information available through Census, compare to information obtained in CalOMS Treatment to determine whether population is being reached, survey Tribal representatives for insight in potential barriers) the substance use service needs of the American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) population within the County geographic area and shall engage in regular and meaningful consultation and collaboration with elected officials of the tribe, Rancheria, or their designee for the purpose of identifying issues/barriers to service delivery and improvement of the quality, effectiveness and accessibility of services available to AI/NA communities within the County.

Tribal Communities and Organizations. COUNTY shall regularly review population information available through Census, compare to information obtained in the California Outcome Measurement System for Treatment (CalOMS-Tx) to determine whether the population is being reached, and survey Tribal representatives for insight in potential barriers to the substance use service needs of the American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) population within the COUNTY geographic area. Contractor shall also engage in regular and meaningful consultation and collaboration with elected officials of the tribe, Rancheria, or their designee for the purpose of identifying issues/barriers to service delivery and improvement of the quality, effectiveness, and accessibility of services available to AI/AN communities within the COUNTY.
Tribal Communities and Organizations. The CONTRACTOR shall regularly assess (e.g. review population information available through Census Bureau, compare to information obtained in CalOMS Treatment to determine whether population is being reached, survey Tribal representatives for insight in potential barriers) the substance use service needs of the American Indian/Alaskan Native (Al/AN) population within the CONTRACTOR's geographic area and shall engage in regular and meaningful consultation and collaboration with elected officials of the tribe, Rancheria, or their designee for the purpose of identifying issues/barriers to service delivery and improvement of the quality, effectiveness, and accessibility of services available to Al/AN communities within the COUNTY. ATTACHMENT F COUNTY OF DEL NORTE BUSINESS ASSOCIATE AGREEMENT This Addendum applies to services involving access to Protected Health Information on behalf of the County of Del Norte. Such access may include the provision of medical, dental, pharmaceutical, psychological, psychiatric or any other service in which a client’s health information could at some point be used or disclosed to the CONTRACTOR. For the purposes of this Addendum, the CONTRACTOR is deemed a “business associate” of the COUNTY. This Addendum complies with federal privacy and security regulations issued pursuant to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (“HIPAA”).
