TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE. In accordance with the following conditions and the percentage indicated in the Schedule of Insurance, the Insurer will reimburse any expenses incurred by the insured following the cancellation or interruption of a trip, insofar as the expenses incurred are related to prepaid travel expenses while this benefit is in force and that, at the time travel arrangements were finalized, the insured was not aware of any event that could reasonably lead to the cancellation or interruption of the planned trip. Only the portion of prepaid travel expenses that has not been the subject of any form of credit, compensation or indemnity (with or without restriction as to use) offered by the travel services provider or any organization is eligible. Moreover, any prepaid travel expenses paid to a travel services provider must be unused, unusable, non-refundable and non-transferable. Notwithstanding the above, when the insured demonstrates that he or she will be unable to use a travel credit prior to its expiry due to health conditions not existing at the time the trip was purchased or the occurrence of one of the causes of cancellation recognized under this benefit, the insured can send the claim to the Assistor for a refund.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE. Sun Realty has contracted with Red Sky Travel Insurance (0- 000-000-0000) in order to offer you trip cancellation insurance to protect your vacation investment against hurricane evacuations, and other covered unforeseen circumstances, which could cause cancellation of your trip and forfeiture of payments. Coverage issues will be based and determined solely by Red Sky. and the existing policy will be issued to you if you elected the coverage of this insurance when you made your reservation. Please see your policy for more specific information. Please note, trip insurance premium is non-refundable after 10 days in force even if reservation is cancelled. If trip insurance is declined, tenant accepts responsibility for loss of rent in case of any unforseen circumstances including but not limited to mandatory evacuation. TRAVEL CONTRACTOR shall make available to each Educational Tour / Field Study Trip participant trip cancellation insurance that will insure trip participants of trip transportation in spite of accident or illness of any participant that prevents that participant from either commencing the trip or requires the participant’s early return from the trip.

TCSES monitors the safety of each country through contact with the U.S. Department of State and other sources daily. This includes the State Department’s daily global security briefing and instant notification of all Travel Warnings and Alerts. If there is a need for any changes to a program based on these announcements, participants will be contacted via their official school email and/or email contact information that was included in my registration regarding changes in the Program made due to safety or risk. 4P0T ersonal Conduct Abroad I understand that I am and I remain subject to my institution’s policies on Alcohol, Drug Use, Sexual Harassment, and the Student Code of Conduct when I am abroad. I further acknowledge that the processes and information set forth in these policies generally assume that I am participating solely in my own institution’s program. I understand that my institution will apply these policies to the extent possible but there may be some deviations in their application as a result of the unique circumstances of this cross-institution program and my institution reserves the right to adapt these policies as necessary to address in country laws or the circumstances of a particular issue. In addition, I understand that I also may be subject to standards and process imposed by an in-country logistical and service provider and I agree to comply with them to the extent applicable. I understand and acknowledge that each foreign country has its own laws and standards of acceptable conduct, including dress, manners, morals, politics, drug use, and behavior. I recognize that behavior, which violates those laws or standards, could harm my Institution’s relations with those countries and the institutions therein, as well as my own health and safety. I will become informed of, and will abide by, all such laws and standards for each country to or through which I will travel during my participation in the Program, including attending any and all Program orientation meetings and reading all materials the Program provides. I will attend to any legal problems I encounter with any foreign nationals or government of the host country or any country to or through which I travel during my participation in the Program.
