Twelve Month Contracts a. At the discretion of the University, some Unit Core Faculty may be appointed to twelve-month contract periods in one or more years of a multi-year faculty appointment.
Twelve Month Contracts. 1. All drivers currently on twelve month contracts and otherwise eligible therefore, shall be offered same for the 2012-15 school years. Longevity payments shall be prorated if an employee does not work a full day or works less than a twelve (12) month contract.
Twelve Month Contracts. (See Appendix M). Faculty Members whose individual contracts provide for twelve- (12) month employment will receive additional compensation of 3/20th of the Faculty Member's annual salary. Faculty Members whose individual contracts provide for more than two (2) semesters but less than twelve (12) months of service will have their compensation prorated accordingly. Duty days for Faculty Members on more than two (2) semester contracts will be in accordance with the Board-adopted calendar for such assignments. Faculty Members whose contracts exceed two (2) semesters will receive holidays provided by the Board-adopted calendar and will receive prorated vacation as provided in this Agreement.

  • Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:

  • Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

  • Month A period commencing at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of a calendar month and extending until 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of the next succeeding calendar month. Monthly shall have the correlative meaning.

  • Ten Month Employees Employees appointed on a regular 10-month basis (those employed for the standard academic year beginning September 1 to June 30) generally receive benefits on a pro rata basis except for holiday pay which will be granted for those holidays that fall during the academic year only.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.
