UNION DUES AND CHECKOFF. (a) The Employer agrees to deduct from each employee covered by the terms of this agreement working dues at the rate provided for in the applicable Local Union Schedule which shall be remitted to the Secretary-Treasurer of the applicable Local Union by the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following the month in which such deduction was made.

UNION DUES AND CHECKOFF. 8.01 The Employer shall deduct Union dues including, where applicable, initiation fees and assessments, on a monthly basis, from the total earnings of each employee covered by this agreement. The amount of dues shall be calculated in accordance with the Union’s Constitution.

The Employer shall be saved harmless by the union for all deductions and payments made. The Union shall advise the Employer in writing of the amount of initiation fees, assessments and union dues and as to any changes thereto at least one (1) month in advance of the pay period in which the deductions are to be made.

  • Union Dues As a condition of employment, the Hospital will deduct from each employee covered by this Agreement an amount equal to the regular monthly union dues designated by the Union. Such dues shall be deducted from the first pay of each month for full-time employees, and may be deducted from every pay for part-time employees. In the case of newly hired employees, such deductions shall commence in the month following their date of hire. The amount of the regular monthly dues shall be those authorized by the Union and the Union shall notify the Hospital of any changes therein and such notification shall be the Hospital's conclusive authority to make the deductions specified. In consideration of the deducting of union dues by the Hospital, the Union agrees to indemnify and save harmless the Hospital against any claims or liabilities arising or resulting from the operation of this Article. Dues deducted by the 15th of the month shall be remitted monthly to the Union, no later than the end of the month in which the dues were deducted.

  • Criminal Background Checks Provider and College reserve the right to conduct criminal background checks on Resident to determine Resident’s suitability to live in Residence Facility, and Resident consents and agrees that Provider and College has permission to conduct criminal background checks on Resident.

  • Checkoff The Employer shall deduct the bi-weekly membership dues from the earnings of those employees who authorize such deductions in writing. The Union shall submit such authorizations and certify the amounts to be deducted at least seven (7) days prior to the end of the payroll period for which the deductions are to be effective and the deductions shall continue in effect until canceled by the employee through the Union. The aggregate deductions of all employees, together with a detailed record, shall be remitted to the Union office within ten (10) days after such deductions are made.
