Union Liaison. The Union and the Employer agree to establish one ( 1 ) Full Time Equivalent (FTE) for the purpose of promoting the philosophy and intent of the Labor-Management Partnership. The Union Liaison will be hired through a joint hiring process and will be required to report to a joint reporting and evaluating structure within sixty (60) days of ratification. The full time Union Liaison is expected to provide education and training to employees in order to enhance and promote the partnership philosophy, as well as publicizing the Partnership successes in the Colorado Region. The Union Liaison will assist the facility Labor-Management Partnership Committees to develop strategies and processes to implement the Labor-Management Partnership philosophy and to facilitate project design, as well as other applicable issues. The Union and the Employer will develop the Union Liaison work plan. The job description will be amended as necessary as the Partnership progresses and/or upon recommendation of the National Labor- Management Strategy Group.

Union Liaison. COTPA will pay the ATU, Local 993 President/Business Agent eighty (80) hours per month at an hourlyrate of $33.38 and shall receive the same percentage increases as all other bargaining unit members effective July 1, 2022, for UNION Liaison activities conducted. An ATU member serving as the UNION Liaison will be relieved from the regular duties of his/her previous classification in order to serve exclusively as the UNION Liaison. All time lost by the ATU member while serving as the UNION Liaison shall be considered to be time worked for the purposes of fringe benefitsand seniority afforded other employees covered by this AGREEMENT. When the ATU member is no longer serving as the UNION Liaison they may return to their previous position.

  • Union Bargaining Committee A Union Bargaining Committee shall be appointed by the Union and shall consist of up to three (3) members of the Union together with the President of the Union or her designate. The Union shall have the right at any time to have the assistance of members of the staff of the Union when negotiating with the Employer.

  • Credit Union Liability If we do not properly complete a transaction according to this Agreement, we will be liable for your losses or damages not to exceed the amount of the transaction, except as otherwise provided by law. We will not be liable if: (1) your account contains insufficient funds for the transaction; (2) circumstances beyond our control prevent the transaction; (3) your loss is caused by your or another financial institution's negligence; or (4) your account funds are subject to legal process or other claim. We will not be liable for consequential damages, except liability for wrongful dishonor. We exercise ordinary care if our actions or nonactions are consistent with applicable state law, Federal Reserve regulations and operating letters, clearinghouse rules, and general financial institution practices followed in the area we serve. You grant us the right, in making payments of deposited funds, to rely exclusively on the form of the account and the terms of this Agreement. Any conflict regarding what you and our employees say or write will be resolved by reference to this Agreement.

  • Union Stewards (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Union stewards to be elected or appointed from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed their probationary period for the purpose of dealing with Union business as provided under this Collective Agreement. (b) A Chief Xxxxxxx or designate may, in the absence of any xxxxxxx, assist in the presentation of any grievance, or with any xxxxxxx function. (c) The Union shall keep the Hospital notified in writing of the names of Union stewards appointed or selected under this Article as well as the effective date of their respective appointments. (d) It is agreed that Union stewards have their regular duties and responsibilities to perform for the Hospital and shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. If, in the performance of his duties, a Union xxxxxxx is required to enter an area within the Hospital in which he is not originally employed, he shall report his presence to the supervisor in the area immediately upon entering it. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When resuming his regular duties and responsibilities, such xxxxxxx shall again report to his immediate supervisor. A Union xxxxxxx shall suffer no loss of earnings for time spent in performing the above duties during his regular scheduled working hours. (e) Nothing in this Article shall preclude full-time stewards from representing part-time employees and vice-versa. (f) The number of stewards and the areas which they represent, are to be determined locally.

Such time off for processing grievances shall be granted by supervision following a request, but in consideration of any job responsibilities.

  • Sole Bargaining Agency The Employer recognizes the Union as the sole bargaining agency on behalf of the employees for whom the Union has been certified as bargaining agent with respect to wages, hours of work, terms and conditions of employment during the life of this Agreement.
