United Professional Conferences. 1. At the beginning of every school year, the Association shall be credited with eight (8) days off with pay, providing the Association pays for the substitute replacement, for the purpose of attending regional, state or national workshops, conferences and conventions which shall be used by the VESPA President and/or one (1) designee per event.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES A. Special conferences for important matters will be arranged between the Union President and the Employer or its designated representative upon the request of either party. Such meetings shall be between at least two representatives of the Union and two representatives of management. Arrangements for such special conferences shall be made in advance and an agenda of the matters to be taken up at the meeting shall be presented at the time the conference is requested.
