Up to one. 1) year of a leave of absence to obtain a postgraduate degree, upon successful completion of the degree, shall normally count for credit toward sabbatical leave, as time in service in computing eligibility for tenure and promotion, and for a career progress increment pursuant to Article 18.02.3.
Up to one. (1) work day of sick leave may be taken to attend the funeral, memorial, or similar event of a friend or relative not in the immediate family.
Up to one half of a unit member’s annual sick leave entitlement may be used to care for their ill immediate family member (as defined in 8.3.3) per the California Kin Care law. Leave used under this provision must be accrued (available) and counts towards personal necessity (8.3.1). If usage of this leave results in overuse of personal necessity, previous personal necessity taken during the year not qualifying under Kin Care law will be changed to vacation or unpaid time.
Up to one third (1/3) of the Optioned Shares may be exercised at any time after twelve (12) months after the Effective Grant Date;
Up to one. (1) school day for the death of grandparent of spouse, brother- in-law, sister-in-law, or other relative who is a member of the teacher’s household.
Up to one. (1) day leave per school year may be granted to attend the Teacher's own wedding or the wedding of a son or daughter or to attend to the Teacher's personal business. This day may not be used as vacation time.
Up to one fifth (1/5) of the shares (of the total shares subject to the Option) on and at any time after August 3, 1997 and prior to termination of the Option;
Up to one third of the Units purchased pursuant to the Offering Memo without the consent of the other Members and (ii) cause the Company to issue and sell a number of additional Units exceeding one-third of the Units purchased pursuant to the Offering Memo with the consent of a Majority-In-Interest of the Members. The terms of the issuance and sale of additional Units shall be determined by the Managing Member in its sole discretion; provided, however that the price per additional Unit shall equal the net asset value of the Company, as determined by the Managing Member in its sole discretion (taking into account a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the estimated liquidation value of the assets underlying the Balcor Securities owned by the Company, the anticipated holding period of the assets underlying the Balcor Securities, whether the Company controls the Balcor Partnerships and the Company's ownership percentage of the Balcor Partnerships), divided by the number of Units (after giving effect to the sale of the Additional Units (as defined below)). Prior to consummating any sale of Additional Units, the Managing Member shall give the Members notice of the impending sale. Each Member will have a period of three days after delivery of such notice to subscribe irrevocably to purchase up to its pro rata share, based upon the number of Units then held by such Member, of the additional Units covered by such notice (the "Additional Units"); provided, however, that a Member may subscribe for Additional Units in excess of its pro rata share to the extent that other Members decline to subscribe for all of their pro rata share of the Additional Units. If necessary, such excess Additional Units shall be allocated among the oversubscribing Members pro rata based upon the respective numbers of Additional Units for which they oversubscribed. If the Members do not subscribe for all of the Additional Units, the Managing Member shall have a period of 90 days in which to obtain subscriptions for the remaining Additional Units to any person or persons (including existing Members). Any Additional Units not purchased within such 90-day period shall again be subject to the pre-emption rights of the Members. The Managing Member may, in its sole discretion, elect to make more than one offering of Additional Units.
Up to one. (1) year of service - each employee shall receive one (1) vacation day with pay for each full month of service, up to a maximum of ten (10) vacation days. Employees shall receive vacation with pay based on years of service from the anniversary date of that employee’s hire to be assessed July 1 of the subsequent year in accordance with the following vacation table: 1 year to 5 years of service 10 days 5 years to 10 years of service 15 days Over 10 years of service 20 days If a regular payday falls within the employee’s vacation period the employee shall be given a paycheck prior to going on vacation. Vacations may be taken at any time during the year, if requested at least 90 days in advance and approved by the Superintendent of Schools.
