Use/Carry over. Employee requests to use compensatory time off shall be made reasonably in advance and approved when the employee's absence will not unduly disrupt operations. On June 30 of each year, up to two hundred (200) hours of compensatory time may be carried over into the next fiscal year.
Use/Carry over. All compensatory time earned during the fiscal year must be used by June 30th of that year with one exception. Upon the recommendation of the supervisor and approval of the Department Director, employees may carry over up to forty (40) hours of compensatory time provided it is taken within the following quarter (7-1 to 9-30).
