USE OF PIN a) Genuine signature: The cardholder acknowledges that the joint use of his card with his PIN is the same as his genuine signature to enable him to carry out, through an accessible device, purchases and cash advances, as provided for under this Agreement.

USE OF PIN. (a) You will receive a PIN. A PIN is personal to You and must not be disclosed to anyone. You must memorise the PIN and NEVER CARRY THE CARD AND A NOTE OF THE PIN TOGETHER. You are liable in full if You fail to observe the above.
USE OF PIN. Each RO must be a person identified by the facility as someone who meets EPA’s criteria of being a signatory authority. If a PIN is compromised or there is evidence of potential compromise, HRSD will suspend the PIN and affected account. In addition, HRSD will inactivate or revoke a PIN where the RO is no longer an authorized signatory. Each RO agrees that HRSD may act immediately and unilaterally in any decision to suspend, inactivate, revoke, or otherwise disallow use of a PIN by any RO, where HRSD staff determines that such action is or may be necessary to ensure the authenticity, integrity or general security of transmissions or records, or where there are any actual or apparent violations of this agreement. Each RO also agrees to immediately report to HRSD any compromise or potential compromise of a PIN.
USE OF PIN. If a PIN is issued to you to allow you to use the Card at any ATM outside of Singapore, the following additional terms apply:
USE OF PIN. Each Certifier shall be either the permittee or a person identified by the permittee as a responsible official for signatory purposes by the permittee for each facility, person, or other entity for which information is being reported. If a PIN has been compromised or where there is evidence of potential compromise, it will be automatically or manually suspended. In addition, the EPD will inactivate or revoke a PIN where the Certifier is no longer an authorized representative. Each Certifier expressly agrees that the EPD may act immediately and unilaterally in any decision to suspend, inactivate, revoke, or otherwise disallow use of a PIN by any Certifier, where the EPD believes that such action is necessary to ensure the authenticity, integrity or general security of transmissions or records, or where there are any actual or apparent violations of this agreement. INABILITY TO TRANSMIT OR FILE REPORTS ELECTRONICALLY: No party shall be liable for any failure to perform its obligations in connection with any Electronic Transaction or any Electronic Document, where such failure results from any act or cause beyond such party’s control which prevents such party from electronically transmitting or receiving any Documents, except that the Certifier is nonetheless required to submit records or information required by law via other means, as provided by applicable law and with the time period provided by such law. CONTINUATION OF OPERATIONS: In the event that electronic submission of data is not possible via GEOS, it is the responsibility of the certifier to submit paper copies in accordance with the requirements of the authorizing permit. Failure to submit data by the date required by the permit is a violation and will be recorded as such. SEVERABILITY: Any provision of the Agreement which is determined to be invalid or unenforceable will be ineffective to the extent of such determination without invalidating the remaining provisions of this Agreement or affecting the validity or enforceability of such remaining provisions.
USE OF PIN. 7.1. A PIN is generated upon issuance of a Credit Card, including a new or replacement Credit Card. The PIN is strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any other person under any circumstance or by any means whether voluntarily or otherwise, as you are the only person authorised by the Bank to have knowledge of the PIN. You hereby authorise the Bank to deliver your PIN to you at your own risk by post or such other means as the Bank deems fit. You shall contact the Bank through any of the means provided in Clause 16.3 if you do not receive the PIN within 14 days after receipt of your new or replacement Credit Card. As soon as practicable upon receipt of the PIN and before using it to effect any transactions, you are required to perform a PIN change at any of the Bank’s ATMs.

Each RO also agrees to immediately report to MCES any compromise or potential compromise of a PIN. INABILITY TO TRANSMIT OR FILE REPORTS ELECTRONICALLY: No party is liable for any failure to perform its obligations in connection with any Electronic Transaction or any Electronic Document, where the failure results from any act or cause beyond the party’s control that prevents the party from electronically transmitting or receiving any document submissions. The RO is nonetheless required to submit records or information required by law by other means within the time period required by law, unless a written extension has been granted by MCES.

The Cardmember may set the PIN through the means availed by the Bank, including making a personal attendance at the Bank’s branch and setting the PIN assisted by the Bank’s officer. The Cardmember who agrees to bear the risks arising from the delivery of the PIN by post, including the risks that the PIN mailer may be intercepted or retained by any other person or lost in transit, may request that the Bank deliver the PIN by post to the Cardmember at his risks. The Bank shall not be liable for any loss and damage not caused by the Bank’s gross negligence and the Cardmember agrees to indemnify the Bank from such loss and damage. The Cardmember shall contact the Bank through any of the means provided in Clause 16.3 if he does not receive the PIN within 14 days after making the request for delivery of the PIN by post. As soon as practicable upon receipt of the PIN by post and before using it to effect any transactions, the Cardmember is required to perform a PIN change at any of the Bank’s ATMs. The Cardmember may reset or change his PIN by such means availed by the Bank from time to time.
