Use of Telephones. 19.2.1 Telephones are available to employees for all business-related local and long-distance calls. Long distance business-related calls are to be recorded on the forms provided by the district.
Use of Telephones. Teachers shall have the right to use phones prior to the start of school, at lunchtime and after school when phones are not being used for school business. Phones, with a list of emergency numbers available, shall be provided in a private place when teachers are in the building. The Board shall make provisions for staff members to receive emergency calls.
Use of Telephones. The State will allow stewards to use State telephones during the normal working hours concerning Union business, provided no additional costs are incurred by the State and such use is consistent with agency operational needs.
Use of Telephones. Use of telephones for personal reasons should be avoided as much as possible unless for emergency reasons. Long distance phone calls are to be approved by the building principal before the call is made. If the long distance call is approved, a record form is to be completed by the teacher. A copy of this record will be kept by the school secretary and one copy will be sent to the district office. The cost of any personal long distance calls will be reimbursed to the district by the employee making the call.
Use of Telephones. Telephones are provided for school business only. Personal calls should not be made, or received, except in emergencies.
Use of Telephones. Where pay telephones are reasonably available, within the building, Union stewards or staff representatives shall use such telephones for Union business calls. If pay telephones are not available, State telephones may be used for Union business calls provided that calls are of short duration and that long distance calls are not charged to the State.
Use of Telephones. Except for lunch or rest periods, employees may not make outgoing personal telephone calls without the express approval of their immediate supervisors, which will only be granted in case of a genuine emergency. Employees may not receive incoming personal telephone calls when at work, except those of an emergency nature. Cell phones are banned during working hours except in an emergency situation.
Use of Telephones. The Alliance or any Committee or representative thereof shall have the right to use school telephones for local school related telephone calls, provided that a non-coin school telephone is available to the school administration at all times and provided also that any such use by the Alliance representatives does not interfere with the school program in any way.
Use of Telephones. The Union officers, stewards or members may, if immediate action is required to resolve a question or matter within the scope of the Union's duties as exclusive representative, use the telephone at their facility, subject to the reasonable discretion of management. Long distance phone calls shall not be billed to the State. Intrafacility telephone calls of reasonably short duration are allowed provided that there is no immediate interference with agency operations. The Union will cooperate in preventing abuse of this Section.
Use of Telephones. Bargaining unit members will be permitted to use telephone equipment in a reasonable manner. Personal long distance calls shall be made with use of a personal credit card. There shall be no personal long distance telephone calls made at school expense.
