Vacation Credited. New Hires If hired July 1st to December 31st, then the Employee shall receive five (5) vacation Days on his/her date of hire; if hired January 1st to June 30th, then the Employee shall receive two and one-half (2.5) vacation days on his/her date of hire. After One Year of Service Two Weeks After Six Years of Service Two Weeks and One Day After Seven Years of Service Two Weeks and Two Days After Eight Years of Service Two Weeks and Three Days After Nine Years of Service Two Weeks and Four Days After Ten Years of Service Three Weeks After Fifteen Years of Service Four Weeks For the purpose of calculating ‘years of service,’ any service in a twelve-month position shall be counted in determining the number of years of service.   • Vacation Credits All employees shall participate in the County’s Terminal Pay Plan (Plan). However, only the terminal paychecks (including unused vacation) of those employees who have reached the age of fifty-five (55) shall be placed into the Plan. These terminal paychecks shall be placed into the Plan on a pre-tax basis in accordance with the Plan, all applicable laws and all rules and regulations applicable to the Plan.

  • Vacation Credit Any outstanding vacation entitlement for a person going on LTD will be paid in cash upon expiry of sick leave. The cash payment will be calculated on the base earnings at the expiration of sick leave for the prorated days of vacation entitlement, any outstanding lieu days, any outstanding floating statutory holidays, and banked time for 40-hour per week employees. No vacation entitlement, floating holidays, or banked time for 40-hour per week employees accrues while a member is in receipt of LTD benefits.

  • Vacation Payout Where an employee requests in writing to have a specific number of vacation days paid out, and the Employer agrees to the request, the Employer will issue pay in lieu of vacation. Pay in lieu of vacation, if agreed, will be granted only after a minimum of 15 days' vacation time has already been taken in the year.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Vacation Leave Credits ‌ Full-time and part-time employees will be credited with vacation leave accrued monthly, according to the rate schedule and vacation leave accrual below.

  • Borrowing of Unearned Vacation Credits With the approval of the Employer, an Employee who has been employed for a period of five (5) or more years may be granted five (5) days from the vacation leave of the next subsequent year.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Vacation Year The vacation year shall be April 1 to March 31, inclusive.

  • Vacation Accruals Length of Service Accrual Rate Per Month 0 - 10 yrs. 1 1/4 days 11 - 20 yrs. 1 2/3 days Upon completion of 20 years 2 1/12 days A staff member will be paid for vacation at the staff member’s base rate of pay.

  • Vacation Leave A part-time employee shall earn vacation leave credits for each month in which the employee receives pay for at least twice the number of hours in the employee’s normal workweek, at the rate for years of service established in clause 34.02 of this Agreement, prorated and calculated as follows:
