Vacation Leave Scheduled and Maximum Accumulation. Once an employee accrues two (2) years worth of vacation, no additional vacation will be credited. Once an employee has 22 years of service, the employee may accrue three (3) years worth of vacation.

Vacation Leave Scheduled and Maximum Accumulation. Vacation leave shall normally be taken within twelve (12) months following an employee’s anniversary date. The maximum amount of vacation an employee may have accumulated at any one time shall be equal to two years accumulation. Once an employee accrues two (2) years worth of vacation, no additional vacation will be credited until the employee reduces his/her balance of vacation hours below this maximum level.

  • Vacation Leave Maximum Employees may accumulate maximum vacation leave balances not to exceed two hundred and forty (240) hours. However, there are two (2) exceptions that allow vacation leave to accumulate above the maximum:

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Accumulation of Vacation Leave Credits 31.1.1 An employee shall earn in respect of each fiscal year, annual vacation leave with pay at the following rates for each calendar month in which the employee receives at least seventy-five (75) hours’ pay:

The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Maximum Vacation Accrual Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.
