Vacation Leave. 1. Definition – Vacation is a right, earned as a condition of employment, to a leave shall be taken only at times mutually agreed to by of absence with pay for the Employer recreation and well-being of the employee. Except as provided in Section 5 of this Article, nurses in regular positions paid less than eighty (80) hours per pay period or job-shared positions shall receive vacation leave accumulation on a pro-rata basis; provided, however, that there shall be no prorating of the maximum accumulations. All paid hours coded per pay period by a nurse with 72 standard hours (i.e., a 72-hour nurse), up to 80 hours per pay period, shall count toward vacation leave accruals. For nurses, such vacation allowance shall be available for use on the first day following the pay period in which it is earned, provided an employee has completed eighteen (18) pay periods of continuous service in paid status from the employee’s hire date. (1) Scheduling – Vacation periods should be taken annually, with the approval of the appointing authority, at such time as will not impair the work schedule or efficiency of the department but with consideration given to the well being of the employee. Approval for vacation requests shall not be unreasonably denied. No employee shall lose earned vacation leave time because of work urgency. If an employee has reached the maximum allowed unused balance and is unable to take vacation leave because of work urgency, the appointing authority will notify the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector of the situation and approve a waiver of the maximum allowed unused balance for a facility work location which could restrict the number of concurrent vacation leave requests which may be granted for that work location.

Vacation Leave. 15.01 For non-permanent employees, the City shall pay 4.0% vacation pay for all regular hours worked. A permanent employee terminating their service with the City during their first year of employment shall be paid vacation pay equal to the value of the vacation leave which they have accrued.
15.02 For the purposes of the following articles, continuous service shall be calculated from the seniority date for employees hired prior to January 1, 2005 and shall be calculated from the most recent date of hire for employees who have continuous full-time casual service immediately prior to their permanency date if they become permanent after January 1, 2005. Continuous service includes time spent on approved paid leave including vacation leave, sick leave, special leave and use of banked time.
15.03 Permanent employees shall accrue vacation leave according to the following schedule: Length of Service Annual Vacation Accrual Completed less than 7 years 15 days per year Completed 7 or more but less than 14 years 20 days per year Completed 14 or more but less than 21 years 25 days per year Completed 21 or more years 30 days per year
15.04 A vacation schedule shall be posted by March 1 of each year and vacation requests shall be submitted by April 30 of each year. Seniority shall prevail in determination of dates at which vacation will be received.
15.05 Carry-over vacation may be permitted, when requested in writing, from one year to the following year, but accumulation is limited to the number of days an employee can accrue in sixteen (16) months.
15.06 Taking of vacation leave is subject to the approval of the Supervisor or Manager.
15.07 If an employee becomes hospitalized, as defined by room and board in a hospital, or requires emergency surgery during a period of annual vacation leave and meets the conditions as set out in Article 13, the employee shall be granted sick leave for the period of illness and their annual vacation leave credits shall be restored to the extent of any corresponding sick leave granted, provided that it does not exceed the amount of vacation leave that the employee had applied for before becoming ill.

Vacation Leave. 112.1 Unit employees are entitled to vacation allowance with pay. Vacation leave entitlement shall be taken only at times mutually agreed established as the first (1st) of the month of employment if employed between the first (1st) and fifteenth (15th) calendar date of that month or the first (1st) of the following month if employed on or after the sixteenth (16th) calendar date of the month.

12.6 A unit employee must work from a scheduled or be on paid leave of absence in order to earn full vacation leave period due to operational needs, for that month. An employee in a paid status for less than a month shall accrue vacation at the ratio calculated for each hour of paid service as their allowance would be on a regular work basis.
12.7 When a unit employee will have the right to take the with accrued vacation leave is separated from the District, he/she shall be paid for the accrued vacation at a later time. Said employee will be compensated at time and one-half of his/her base current rate for of pay.
12.8 All vacation leave must be approved or denied by the time District within fifteen (15) working days from the date submitted by the employee. Vacation Leave. Section 1. Vacation Leave. 111.1 All employees should have time off for rest and relaxation. Leave requests longer than three (3) days should be submitted at least six (6) months, but not more than one (1) year, prior to commencement of the requested vacation leave period. 15.08 When holidays as defined in Article 14.01 fall within the employee's paid vacation period, the employee will be permitted to either take the equivalent extra days of vacation with preference pay consecutive with his/her vacation or take the equivalent days of vacation at a time mutually agreed upon.
15.09 Subject to employees with operational requirements, the greatest classification seniority. Vacation leave requests received less than six (6) months Employer may schedule the Saturday/Sunday prior to the commencement of an employee's vacation period as the requested employee's Saturday/Sunday off in that three (3) week period.
15.10 Vacation leave shall not be cumulative from year to year under normal circumstances. In such cases vacations may be carried over to the next vacation period with the approval of the Employer or his/her delegate. Applications for vacation carry-over shall be submitted in writing. 15.11 If a full-time employee becomes sick while on vacation leave and submits a doctor's certificate covering the period of sickness, he/she shall have the vacation for the period covered by the certificate converted to sick leave. The days of vacation lost as a result of the sickness shall be granted with preference re- credited to requests from employees with the greatest classification seniority. Requests received more than six (6) months prior to the commencement of the requested his/her vacation record.
15.12 The vacation leave period shall receive priority over requests received less than six entitlement of an employee who has completed five (65) months prior years of continuous part-time service in the Bargaining Unit and whose status is changed from part-time to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period regardless of seniority.
3. Notification of disapproval or approval (i.e., subject to proper seniority pick) will be given to the requesting employee within two (2) weeks of the submission of the request. Denial of approved vacation full-time will be based on reasonably unanticipated staffing demands and use the total completed years of vacation leave shall not be unreasonably denied. Vacation Leave. 1. Vacation The time, place, and manner of vacation leave bidding and minimum staffing requirements will be established at the discretion of the Department.
a. Patrol Officers, Corporals, and Community Service Officers will bid for vacations based on seniority as calculated in the Shift Assignments section of this Article. Patrol Officers, Corporals, and CSOs may bid for one continuous primary vacation period up to his/her current annual accrual rate for the entire bid period. Officers, Corporals, and CSOs will also have the option to bid a secondary vacation as long as the total amount of time for both the primary and secondary vacations does not exceed the officer’s anticipated accrued vacation total at the time the leave commences. Vacation Leave. Unless specified otherwise, regular full-time employees in the Village service completing a probationary period shall be allowed vacation leave according to the following schedule: Completed Years of Service Earned Vacation Leave After 1 year 2 weeks After 5 years 3 weeks After 10 years 4 weeks After 17 years 5 weeks Vacation leave is awarded at the beginning of each calendar year. The additional week of vacation which is granted to an employee on their 5th, 10th, and 17th year shall be awarded on the employee’s anniversary date. All of the annual vacation days to which the employee is entitled in a calendar year will expire at the end of the calendar year, except for forty (40) hours which an employee may carry over into the next year and which must be used in the next year. Vacation Leave. 115.01 Full-time employees are entitled to and shall be granted a paid vacation at the normal rate of pay for the period involved. 15.14 An employee is entitled to be informed, upon request, of the balance of his/her vacation entitlement.
15.15 Notwithstanding the above provisions, an employee converting from part- time to full-time status at CFB Kingston may count his/her previous continuous part-time employment at CFB Kingston towards full-time vacation entitlement as follows:
(a) Less than five (5) years of continuous part-time service – one half (1/2) of the previous service.
(b) Five (5) or more years of continuous part-time service – all of the previous service.
15.16 An employee is entitled to vacation leave with preference pay to employees with the greatest classification seniority. Vacation Leave. 1. Vacation Leave. SECTION 1. Beginning with the first of January following an employee's date of promotion into the Supervisory bargaining unit and on each January lst thereafter, employees without a break in service and covered hereby shall be credited with all vacation accrued during the prior calendar year. SECTION 4. Vacation leave periodcredit shall accrue from the date an employee enters the service of the City. Such vacation requests Vacation leave shall be granted with preference to employees covered hereby, by the management representative of the Police Department who is in charge of scheduling vacations and such vacations will be granted at such times as they will least interfere with the greatest classification seniorityefficient operation of the Police Department, with due regard for the expressed preference of the employees concerned. Vacation leave Seniority shall be observed if all vacation requests received less than six (6) months for a particular period cannot be honored.
SECTION 5. January 1 shall be the beginning of the year for vacations. Requests shall be made 30 days prior to the commencement vacations and not later than March 1. Vacations may be taken in increments of the requested vacation leave period shall be granted with preference to requests from employees with the greatest classification seniority. Requests received more than six one (61) months prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period shall receive priority over requests received less than six (6) months prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period regardless of seniority.
3. Notification of disapproval or approval (i.e.hour, subject to proper seniority pick) will be given to the requesting employee within two (2) weeks approval of the submission management representative of the requestPolice Department who is responsible for scheduling vacations. SECTION 6. Once a Vacation time off shall be cumulative from year to year. However, except as provided in Section 8, no employee shall be allowed to accumulate more than two (2) times the annual vacation he/she is entitled to, pursuant to Section 1 of this Article.
A. On or before November 30th of any calendar year, employees shall be notified of their total vacation eligibility for that given calendar year, the number of vacation days taken, and the balance remaining, if any.
SECTION 7. Where possible, all vacations shall start on Saturdays. Vacation days and leave request is approveddays may be coupled upon mutual agreement between the employee involved and the Chief of Police, or designated representative.
SECTION 8. In the event that an employee’s 's vacation leave request cannot if denied due to personnel shortage, and the employee is scheduled to continue working so that he/she would then be cancelled solely as a result of a more senior accrue vacation time beyond the two (2) times annual vacation maximum accumulation limit, then in such case said employee later requesting the same vacation days off.
4. All other requests for vacation leave shall be made at least twenty-eight (28) days prior permitted to carry over the commencement of the requested excess earned vacation leave period. Requests made less than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the commencement of the vacation leave period may be considered by the Employer but need not be approvedhours, regardless of staffing needs.
5. When an emergency exists, as provided by Article 61, all vacation leave requests may be denied, including those requests already approved. If an employee is called back to work from a scheduled vacation leave period due to operational needsor, the employee will have the right to take the vacation leave may be paid monetary compensation at a later time. Said employee will be compensated at time and one-half of his/her base rate for the vacation time that would be lost due to the employee is on recall statusaccumulation limit.
SECTION 9. The first two rounds of vacation picks shall be made by choosing 5-10 consecutive day selections.

Vacation Leave. A. All Employees shall earn vacation leave at the rate of one and three-quarters (1:) working days for each month of service. For the purpose of this Article, a workday is defined as an eight (8) hour workday.

E. No vacation allowance shall accrue:
1. Vacation leave shall be taken only at times mutually agreed to by During the Employer and the employee. F. Vacation for an Employee Serving a Provisional Appointment or Temporary Appointment Outside the List.
1. Any Employee serving a provisional appointment shall grant first priority not be entitled to a vacation with pay. However, a provisional appointee shall be entitled to earn and accrue vacation allowance during the term of the appointee's provisional appointment and if upon the termination of the provisional appointment the Employee receives probationary or limited term or permanent appointment in the same position, the Employee shall be credited with the allowances earned and accrued during the provisional appointment and if the Employee does not become such limited term, probationary, or regular Employee, the vacation allowance shall be automatically forfeited. It is provided, however, that a regular Employee who receives a promotion through a provisional appointment shall be considered to be a regular Employee and shall continue to earn vacation allowance.
2. Vacation for a Non-Regular Employee Serving a Temporary Appointment Outside the List (TAOL). A non-regular Employee serving on a TAOL basis shall not be entitled to a vacation leave requests received at least six (6) monthswith pay. However, but not more whenever the duration of the TAOL is for longer than one (1) year, prior including any extensions granted for a specific appointment, the non-regular Employee shall be entitled to commencement (a) earn vacation leave beginning with the first month of the requested vacation leave periodsecond year in accordance with A.1. Such vacation requests shall be granted with preference to employees with the greatest classification seniority. Vacation Leave. 1Employees shall be entitled to receive vacation leave with pay as follows:

Vacation Leave. 1. Vacation leave (a) Full-time Employees are entitled to and shall be taken only granted a paid vacation at times mutually agreed the normal rate of pay for the period involved. A full-time Employee shall be entitled to apply for vacation leave on the basis of earned prorated vacation credits.
(b) Upon written request, a part-time Employee may be granted time off without pay for vacation purposes based on the vacation entitlement outlined below. For purposes of vacation scheduling, and in cases where operational requirements dictate, it is understood that full-time Employees will have preference over part-time Employees, unless part-time Employees have already had their vacation approved.
(c) Part time Employees shall be paid their entitlement during each pay period. However, a part-time Employee may elect to have their entitlement held by the Employer and paid out the employee. The Employer may establish minimum staffing levels for amount accrued at that time, twice a facility work location which could restrict year, as follows:
(i) during the number pay period that falls prior to their approved period of concurrent vacation leave requests which may be granted for that work location.
2. The Employer shall grant first priority to vacation leave requests received at least six (6) months, but not more than of one (1) week or more of leave; the Employee will be responsible to advise the local Human Resources Office at least fourteen (14) calendar days notice in writing when this payment should be paid; and
(ii) during the last pay in December.
(d) The Employee will be responsible to notify the local Human Resources Office of their election no later than December 1st of each calendar year for the next calendar year. If an Employee fails to do so by the deadline, then their entitlement shall be paid out during each pay period.
(e) Vacation leave can be taken in hourly increments.
15.02 On termination of employment or death, the Employee or their estate is entitled to any vacation pay owed to them in respect to any prior completed year of employment and vacation pay for any portion of the year completed at the time of termination at their current wage.
15.03 Calculations shall be based on the anniversary date of employment of the Employee.
15.04 Subject to operational requirements the Employer shall make every reasonable effort to schedule an Employee’s vacation at a time acceptable to them, based on seniority.
15.05 All requests for leave submitted by full-time Employees must be submitted through WorkForce. All Employees shall give the Employer at least fourteen (14) calendar days notice in writing regarding the actual dates on which they desire to take their vacation, if the period of vacation is in excess of five (5) days. An Employee’s leave for shorter periods may be granted based on operational considerations and provided sufficient notice is given.
15.06 Vacation leave shall not be cumulative from year to year under normal circumstances.
15.07 It is realized that occasionally vacations cannot be taken during the vacation period because of illness, job requirements or other exceptional circumstances. In such cases vacations may be carried over the next vacation period with the approval of the appropriate authorized manager. Applications for vacation carry-over shall be submitted in writing.
15.08 When any holiday as defined in Article 14.01 falls within the Employee’s paid vacation period the Employee will be permitted to take one (1) extra day of vacation with pay consecutive with their vacation for each designated holiday.
15.09 Vacation will be granted on the basis of seniority in the outlet. A senior Employee will not be able to displace the approved leave of an Employee with less seniority in the outlet for the same vacation period.
15.10 Subject to operational requirements, the Employer may schedule the Saturday prior to the commencement of an Employee’s vacation period as the requested Employee’s Saturday off in that four (4) week period.
15.11 Where, in respect of any period of vacation leave period. Such with pay, an Employee is granted sick leave on production of a medical certificate, the period of vacation requests leave with pay so displaced shall either be granted added to the vacation period if requested by the Employee and approved by the Employer or reinstated for use at a later date.
15.12 Vacation is only earned while an Employee is drawing pay except that authorized periods of leave without pay that do not exceed two (2) continuous weeks may be counted as time earning vacation.
15.13 An Employee is entitled to be informed, upon request, of the balance of their vacation entitlement.
15.14 Notwithstanding the above provisions, an Employee converting from part-time to full-time status may count their previous continuous part- time employment towards full-time vacation entitlement as follows:
(a) Less than five (5) years of continuous part-time service – one-half (½) of the previous service.
(b) Five (5) or more years of continuous part-time service – all of the previous service.
15.15 An Employee is entitled to vacation leave with preference pay to employees with the greatest classification seniority. Vacation leave requests received less than extent of they earned credits provided they have completed six (6) months prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period shall be granted with preference to requests from employees with the greatest classification seniority. Requests received more than six (6) months prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period shall receive priority over requests received less than six (6) months prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period regardless of senioritycontinuous employment.

Vacation Leave. Paid vacation leave shall be credited to EOPA bargaining unit member/members as follows: Years of Number of Paid Employment Days Annually The conditions of leave are as follows:
1. New EOPA bargaining unit member/members hired after July 1 shall earn vacation days at the rate of .85 of the annual leave for each full consecutive month worked. (Thereafter, such employees shall be given the right to take such days earned after July 1 following his/her date of hire.)

All other EOPA bargaining unit member/members will earn vacation days at the rate of .85 of the annual leave for each full consecutive month worked, said days to be taken during the school year in which such days were earned. Vacation Leave. 1Full-time employees are entitled to and shall be granted a paid vacation at the normal rate of pay for the period involved. Vacation Leave. Paid vacation leave shall be credited to EOPA bargaining unit member/members as follows: Years of Number of Paid Employment Days Annually The conditions of leave are as follows:
1. New EOPA bargaining unit member/members hired after July 1 shall earn vacation days at the rate of .85 of the annual leave for each full consecutive month worked. (Thereafter, such employees shall be given the right to take such days earned after July 1 following his/her date of hire.)

Vacation Leave. 14.01 The vacation entitlement year begins each year on June 1.
14.02 Vacation entitlements are calculated in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act.
14.03 Vacation pay is issued on the payday that corresponds with the vacation time taken.
(a) All Spare employees, and all new employees assigned to CFB Kingston, shall receive vacation pay to be paid at 4% (or 6%, if qualified) on all earned wages for each pay period.
14.04 No requests for vacation time will be granted until the probationary period is satisfied, or the end of the current entitlement year, whichever is greater.
14.05 Subject to operational requirements, Employees shall have the right to draw vacation time in single shift increments.
14.06 Employees starting employment at any point during the current entitlement year are granted vacation time on a pro-rated basis.
14.07 Prior to April 30th of each year, employees will provide their supervisor with their leave preferences. Vacation leave The Employer will post a vacation schedule prior to May 15th based on seniority. Employees may make vacation requests after April 30th on a first come, first served basis, which will be approved if the request does not adversely interfere with another employee's scheduled time and operational requirements can be met.
14.08 An employee may take earned vacation time following the end of the vacation entitlement year.
14.09 When the Employer cancels or alters a period of vacation which it had previously approved, the Employer shall reimburse the employee for the non-returnable portion of vacation contracts and reservations made by the employee with respect to that period, subject to the presentation of such documentation as the Employer may require. The employee must make every reasonable attempt to mitigate any losses incurred and will provide proof of such action to the Employer.
14.10 If at the cessation of an employee's employment, for any reason, the employee has taken more vacation than he/she has earned, the Employer may deduct from the employee's final pay the amount owing.
14.11 When an employee ceases to be employed for any reason, the employee or the employee's estate shall be paid all vacation pay credits that have been earned and not taken only at times mutually agreed to by the employee.
14.12 If an employee has not requested vacation time within the ten (10) month period following the completion of the vacation entitlement year, the Employer and will schedule vacation time for the employee. For vacation leave during the period of February 1 to December 31, requests shall be submitted to the Chief by December 15. All other vacation requests will be granted based upon seniority.
C. For vacation leave not scheduled as described above, the following shall apply. Requests submitted to the Chief in writing by the first of the month preceding the month of requested time off (e.g. by March 1 for leave in April), shall be granted on a first-come, first served basis if scheduling permits.
D. To schedule vacation leave with less lead time than provided above, requested vacation leave shall be made at least twentygranted, provided the employee finds coverage for that time off, utilizing the current LTE employees and approval of the EMS Chief.
E. Employees may rescind scheduled vacation time by notifying the EMS Chief in writing forty-eight (2848) days hours prior to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period. Where in any fiscal year an employee has not been granted all of the vacation leave credited to him, the unused portion of his vacation leave shall be carried over into the following year.
(b) The Authority agrees that each Dispatcher must take eight (8) calendar days vacation leave during the navigation season. Any vacation leave taken only beyond eight (8) calendar days during the navigation season will be allowed provided the relief Dispatcher within their region (eastern or western) is available to cover their absence. This extra vacation leave will be granted on a first come - first serve basis and can be disallowed if Relief Dispatcher is not available to cover the absence due to a previously scheduled commitment. Dispatchers can exchange shifts or portions thereof amongst themselves at times mutually agreed to by no cost the Authority.
(c) An employee shall advise the Employer and the employee. Vacation Leave. 1. Vacation leave with pay shall be taken only granted to Employees in accordance with the following provisions:
a) Employees shall accrue vacation monthly beginning on their date of hire. While recruiting candidates for covered positions the Town Administrator shall have the authority to offer more than two weeks’ vacation to start but no more than three weeks.

Vacation Leave. 1. Vacation leave A. After one year of service, each employee shall be taken only at times mutually agreed to by the Employer and the employee. Such rescheduling shall not interfere with other employees' regularly scheduled vacations or holidays.
C. No employee will be required to change his scheduled vacation, accumulated holiday, or longevity day due to a senior employee transferred to the shift by the Chief. The employee being transferred will retain all remaining vacation time as previously selected on their original shift. Employees voluntarily transferring shifts may lose their vacation selections if the “four people off per shift rule” applies. Voluntarily transferring employees will be able to select time off from available days.
D. When two employees mutually agree to switch shifts, with the Chief’s approval, they will assume the other's vacation, AC days, applicable longevity days, and Xxxxx Days. In the event more than one employee has taken some or all applicable days off, notwithstanding Xxxxx Days, the employee with remaining time off will select time off from the available calendar on the new shift.
E. Vacation benefits shall accumulate until used. Vacation Leave. Each full time employee hired prior to July 1. Vacation leave , 2010 shall be taken only at times mutually agreed to by the Employer and the employee. The Employer may establish minimum staffing levels for a facility work location which could restrict the number of concurrent credited with vacation leave requests which may according to the following schedule: EMPLOYMENT VACATION HOURS Each full time employee hired on or after July 1, 2010 shall be granted for that work location.

1. Any amounts of unearned vacation leave time that the employee has used prior to his/her separation shall be made at least twenty-eight (28) days prior deducted from his/her wages, with any deficiency to the commencement of the requested vacation leave period. Requests made less than twenty-eight (28) days prior to the commencement of the vacation leave period may be considered remitted by the Employer but need not be approved, regardless employee to COP ESD at the time of staffing needsseparation.
5. When an emergency existsIn case of illness or injury which requires hospitalization or home confinement under medical care while on vacation, as provided by Article 61, all employee may request and be granted change in status from vacation to sick leave requests may be denied, including those requests already approvedupon a doctor’s verification of illness.
6. If an employee is called back to work from paid holidays fall during a scheduled vacation leave period due to operational needsperiod, the employee they will have the right to take the not count as vacation leave at a later timedays.

Vacation Leave. 13.01 Employees shall earn vacation leave in accordance with the following schedule: Continuous Employment Each Completed Month of Service 1st year - 8th year 1-1/4 days per month 9th year - 15th year 1-2/3 days per month 16th year - 25th year 2-1/12 days per month 26th year and upwards 2-1/2 days per month
13.02 When an employee retires through choice or due to disability, or upon death, he shall be granted full vacation leave in that year. If an employee is laid off, he shall be considered to have earned any vacation leave granted to him at the time of lay-off.
13.03 Unearned vacation leave taken in the calendar year of separation for any reason other than that listed in 13.02 will be recovered from the salary of the employee at the rate in effect when the leave was taken.
(a) The Authority shall make every reasonable effort to grant an employee his vacation leave during the fiscal year it is earned. Where in any fiscal year an employee has not been granted all of the vacation leave credited to him, the unused portion of his vacation leave shall be carried over into the following year.
(b) Each dispatcher is required to take his full allotment of annual leave during the Navigation season. The employee shall submit to the Authority in writing his vacation leave no sooner than April 30th and no later than May 15th. Should there be a conflict on selected dates between employees, seniority will prevail. The resubmission of Annual Leave shall be no later than May 31st. Vacation leave can be disallowed if the relief dispatcher is not available to cover the absence due to previously scheduled work commitment. Dispatchers can exchange shifts or portions thereof amongst themselves at no cost to the Authority. For purposes of this Article, seniority for full-time dispatchers shall be taken only at times mutually agreed to calculated from the original date of hire by the Employer and the employee. (b) Where annual holidays conflict with course timetabling, a Faculty Member may be required to take up to a maximum of fifteen (15) consecutive days at a more convenient, mutually agreeable, time of the employee year, and/or the Board may purchase up to five days from the Faculty Member involved.
(c) Where normal summer holidays conflict with course timetabling and Department Chair responsibilities, a Department Chair may apply to the Xxxx/Associate Xxxx to have up to twenty (20) work days vacation per academic year purchased by the Board.
22.2 When a Faculty Member is transferred to a position entitled to vacation under this Article, any vacation leave entitlement earned under Article 12 of the Contract, shall remain in effect until received. Leave under this Article shall be earned on recall statusand from the date of transfer. Vacation leave earned prior to being transferred to a position entitled to vacation under this Article shall be taken.
22.3 When a Faculty Member is transferred to a position not entitled to vacation under this Article, any entitlement earned under this Article shall remain in effect until taken.
22.4 Vacation leave entitlement shall be earned during the first forty-five (45) consecutive work days of authorized sick leave but no such entitlement shall be earned in respect of the remainder of each such period of leave.
22.5 Vacation leave entitlement shall be earned when Employees are absent for work days spent on Board authorized committees and for time spent meeting with the Board during formal negotiation of a Collective Agreement.

Vacation Leave. Section 1. Section 6. Vacation shall not carry over without prior approval of the Township Supervisor or Superintendent and in no event shall vacation be allowed to vacation leave requests received at least six (6) months, but not carry more than one (1) year.
Section 7. Vacation will not accrue during an approved leave of absence without pay, prior to commencement while on regular Worker's Compensation, during an extended military leave of absence, during a terminal vacation period nor in excess of the requested special maximum accrual.
