Vacation pay for vacation periods of less than five (5) consecutive workdays shall be paid on the employee’s regular paycheck. Vacation days taken in excess of four (4) consecutive workdays shall be paid in advance of the employee’s vacation period and shall be computed at the employees straight-time hourly rate. An employee’s earned vacation time shall not be used in lieu of the two (2) weeks’ termination notice.

  • VACATION AND VACATION PAY 9.01 All employees who are covered under this Agreement shall receive vacation pay as a percent of the employee's total earnings exclusive of the Employer's contribution to the Union's Benefit Plan. Income tax shall be deducted weekly from the employee's earnings increased by the amount of vacation pay.

  • Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.
