Vacation Payoff. Upon termination of employment by resignation, retirement, or death, employees who leave the municipal service in good standing shall receive compensation of all accrued unused vacation leave earned prior to the effective date of leaving their City position. In the event of the death of an employee, payment for unused vacation leave shall be paid to the employee's designated beneficiary.
