Vacation Earnings. Each employee shall be entitled to an annual paid vacation. Vacation is earned on an hourly basis. For purposes of this Article, a day is defined as eight (8) work hours. During the first year (261 days), vacation shall be computed at the rate of ten (10) working days per year. Beginning with the second year (262nd day) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of twelve (12) working days per year. Beginning with the fifth year (1,045th day) of continuous service, vacations shall be computed at the rate of sixteen (16) working days per year. Beginning with the tenth year (2,350th day) of continuousservice, vacations shall be computed at the rate of eighteen (18) working days per year. Beginning with the fifteenth year (3,655th day) of continuous service, vacations shall be computed at the rate of twenty (20) working days per year. Beginning with the twentieth year (4,960th day) of continuous service, vacations shall be computed at the rate of twenty-two (22) working days per year.
Vacation Earnings. A. Current regular or probationary employees hired by the District prior to May 1, 1985, earn ten (10) hours of vacation per month worked plus additional allowance for longevity after five (5) years. Vacation Earnings. 22.1.1 From the first year through to the completion of the seventh year of employment, an Employee shall earn vacation leave calculated on the basis of 1.25 working days (3/52) each calendar month of employment.
Vacation Earnings. Vacations shall be considered rest periods earned during one vacation year and shall be taken during the following vacation year. Each employee's vacation year begins and ends with their individual anniversary date.
Vacation Earnings. (a) Regular employees shall earn their annual vacation entitlement for any calendar year only after reaching their anniversary date of hire. However, regular employees shall take their regular vacation in the year during which it is earned except during the employee's first year of employment when they are subject to Clause 18.2(b) below. If the employee's employment is terminated prior to reaching the anniversary date, the employee shall repay the Employer for any vacation taken but not yet earned and such amount may be withheld from any funds owed to the employee by the Employer.
Vacation Earnings. RATE Vacation is earned each biweekly pay period at the following rates:

Vacation Earnings. Effective October 14, 2012, there shall be no further vacation accruals. Any vacation time accrued prior to October 14, 2012 shall be held in a bank until used. Banked vacation time shall be used prior to annual leave. Each employee shall be entitled to an annual paid vacation. Vacation is earned on an hourly basis. During the first year (2088 hours), vacation shall be computed at the rate of .053846 per hour. Beginning with the second year (2089 hours) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of .061538 per hour. Beginning with the fifth year (8353 hours) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of .076923 per hour. Beginning with the tenth year (18793 hours) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of .084615 per hour. Beginning with the fifteenth year (29233 hours) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of .092307 per hour. Beginning with the twentieth year (39673 hours) of continuous service, vacation shall be computed at the rate of .1 per hour. All of the above is based on normal hours paid (excludes overtime). The above accrual rates include four (4) personnel business/belief days.
Vacation Earnings. A. An employee who is normally employed less than twelve months or less than an eight-hour day or forty hours per week shall be entitled to vacation time on a pro-rated basis in proportion to time worked and years of service.
Vacation Earnings. The parties agree to the following interpretation of Article 12, Section 1(4) of the Collective Agreement: 1816
