Prime Time Vacation Period Subject to the provisions of this article, it is the intent of the parties that no employee will be restricted in the time of year they choose to take their vacation. The Employer will make every effort to allow employees to take their vacation during the period of April 15th to October 15th inclusive, which will be defined as the prime time vacation period.
Vacation Period The choice of vacation periods shall be granted to employees on the basis of seniority with the Employer except where the period requested would be detrimental to the operation of the Employer.
Vacation Time After the Trial Period is complete, the Employee is entitled to days off per year of which is required to be mutually benefiting of the Employer and the Employee. It is required for the Employee to give notice before scheduling their vacation in accordance with Company policy.
Rental Period (a) Renter has the right to use the rental vehicle (“Vehicle”) until the return date indicated on the Rental Agreement Summary ("Rental Period"). (b) Owner may agree to extend the Rental Period orally or in writing ("Extended Rental Period") but the overall Rental Period may never be more than 88 days. The Extended Rental Period may be subject to higher charges and/or to additional security deposit which will be disclosed to Renter prior to the extension of the Rental Period. (c) Subject to the following conditions, Renter may choose to return the Vehicle before the end of the agreed Rental Period and thereby terminate this Rental Agreement early (and the Rental Period will be reduced accordingly). (i) If Renter has prepaid the Rental Costs (as defined in section 5) to qualify for a "special offer" rate, Renter may not be entitled to any refund due to early voluntary termination. (ii) If Renter has not prepaid the Rental Costs, early termination can have an impact on the daily rates and the other applicable charges if the originally agreed daily rates and applicable charges were conditioned upon the specifics of the original Rental Period. Owner recommends that Renter verify with Owner what impact an early termination has on the Rental Costs before returning the Vehicle early.
Vacation Days Employee shall be entitled to the same paid vacation days each calendar year during the term of this Employee Agreement as authorized by the Company for its other employees.
Vacation Postponement If a bargaining unit employee’s vacation becomes due during a period when he/she is on leave due to illness or injury, he/she may request: 1. that his/her vacation date be changed. The District shall grant such request in accordance with vacation dates available at that time. 2. to carry over his/her vacation to the following year. Such request shall be made through submission (within two (2) weeks of the employee’s return to duty) of a written vacation plan to the employee’s supervisor for approval.
Vacation Year The vacation year shall be April 1 to March 31, inclusive.
Vacation Periods Vacation schedules will be set by the employee’s immediate supervisor(s) and sent to the Office of Human Resources for approval. Employees may request a particular period for vacation. Vacation days may not be taken in advance of their accrual. Those employees who are on a 12-month teacher contract are paid during Spring Break and Winter Recess, however, are not expected to be in attendance or perform duties during those breaks.
Vacation Buy Back Employees shall have the option of requesting pay in lieu of time off up to a maximum of 144 hours of vacation time each year, during each year of the contract in increments of eight (8) hrs. Such requests are subject to the approval of the department head and the availability of funds.
Cumulative Sick Leave The normal cumulative sick leave allowance each year shall be ten (10) days for employees on thirty-eight (38) through forty-two (42) week assignments. Teachers on eleven (11) and twelve (12) month assignments shall receive one (1) day per month up to a maximum of twelve (12) days each year. A teacher shall be permitted to carry forward the unused portion of sick leave without limit. The balance of accumulated sick leave shall be printed on the teacher's bi-weekly statement of earnings.
