Verbal Reminder. At the end of the six-month active time period, the PSD or designee meets with the employee and informs the employee of the inactive status of the verbal reminder and commends the employee for improved performance. The original memo should be removed from the Power Systems Director 's or manager's supervisor operating file and the employee's Personnel file and be returned to the employee.

Verbal Reminder. This step consists of a conference between the support employee and the supervisor concerning an employee’s performance. The supervisor shall provide written confirmation of the date and the reason for the conference to the support employee.
Verbal Reminder. The supervisor holds a Verbal Reminder meeting with the employee. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the employee's conduct or acts which are in violation of City Rules, policies or practices and to remind the employee of the behavior that is expected in the future and the consequences of not meeting the performance expectations of the supervisor.
