Voluntary Substitution. An employee in a funded position may apply for voluntary substitution with an employee who is in receipt of a lay-off notice. The Manager in whose branch the funded position resides will be responsible to determine whether to allow the substitution based on knowledge, skill and ability to do the remaining work, and other bona fide business considerations. Voluntary Substitution. On the basis of the decision and commitment of cultivators to abandon crops used for illicit purposes, voluntary substitution is a fundamental principle of the Programme, in order to build trust among communities and create conditions that can contribute to solving the problem of crops used for illicit purposes, without detriment to the economic, social and environmental sustainability of the communities and the territories in question. This involves action for promoting voluntary substitution and defining, together with the communities, crop substitution alternatives that are sustainable from an economic and socio-environmental perspective and sufficient to strengthen family-run economies, ensuring better quality of life conditions. The aforesaid is on the understanding that the process of substitution and the sustainability thereof requires the support of the Government under the terms agreed with the communities. Voluntary Substitution. Substituting during preparation periods in the schools shall be on a voluntary basis except in emergencies and each teacher who volunteers shall receive compensation at the regular hourly rate paid for internal substitutions.

Voluntary Substitution. (a) As long as no triggering event under Article 5.01 has occurred and is continuing, SANTANDER shall have the right to deliver a notice to Euroclear Bank to substitute all or part of the Collateral with other Eligible Collateral. The BANK hereby consents to any such substitution being effected by Euroclear Bank, subject to section 3 of this Article 3.01.
