Walkthroughs. A walkthrough is a formative assessment process that focuses on one (1), but not more than two (2), of the following components which results in brief written note(s) or a summary:

a. The walk-through will typically be approximately ten (10) consecutive minutes.
b. The evaluator will send feedback, written or electronic, to the teacher within three work days.
c. A walkthrough may be announced or unannounced.
d. The teacher may file written comments to the walkthrough.
e. There shall be at least two walkthroughs in a school year.
Walkthroughs a. A walkthrough shall consist of at least five (5) consecutive minutes, but not more than thirty (30) consecutive minutes in duration by the assigned evaluator.
b. The counselor shall be provided a copy of the walkthrough form (Appendix B) no later than three (3) workdays following the walkthrough.

Walkthroughs. A. In addition to formal observations, the evaluator shall conduct multiple walkthroughs as a means to further observe a teacher’s performance. The evaluator shall provide written feedback to the teacher following the walkthrough. Upon the request of either the teacher or the evaluator, a meeting shall occur to discuss the walkthrough observations.
B. Walkthrough observations shall be a minimum of five (5) minutes.
