Weekend Holiday. Whenever a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be considered to be the holiday. Whenever a holiday falls on Sunday, the following Monday shall be considered to be the holiday. Employees working an irregular workweek shall receive the same number of holidays as employees working the regular Monday through Friday workweek. Holidays, which occur during paid vacation or sick leave with pay, shall not be charged against vacation or sick leave accruals.
