Civic Holiday. 20.01 An employee who qualifies under Article 9 shall be paid for the Civic holiday.
20.02 In the event the store is open for business and an employee is scheduled to work on the Civic holiday they shall be paid straight time.
Civic Holiday. Labour Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day (December 25) Boxing Day (December 26) In addition to the above noted holidays, full-time employees will be eligible for two (2) floating holidays. The float holiday will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time prior to the end of the calendar year.
Civic Holiday. Family Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day (Nov. 11)
Civic Holiday. (Ontario only) and 1st Monday in August (all provinces, except Ontario) are substituted respectively for Remembrance Day.
Civic Holiday. If another Federal, Provincial or Municipal holiday should be proclaimed during the term of this Agreement, such additional proclaimed holiday will replace one of the above-named holidays as agreed by the parties. The intent is that there will be no more than twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year for the duration of this agreement.
Civic Holiday. Employees during the life of this Agreement shall receive a maximum of twelve (12) paid holidays per calendar year. The twelfth (12th) shall be taken as a "floating" (non-premium) holiday to be chosen by mutual agreement excluding the months of January and December. Any employee who has taken her floating holiday prior to the legislated holiday (if proclaimed) shall be considered to have taken her twelfth (12th) paid holiday.

Civic Holiday. If Easter Monday is observed as a regular school day as per the applicable elementary or secondary school year calendar and employees work per usual, one floater holiday in- lieu of Easter Monday may be taken provided no replacement costs are incurred. (The holiday will be forfeited if not observed between January 1 and December 31 each year).
