Welsh Language Standards. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Welsh Language Standards and any similar scheme or similar standards that the Council shall have in force from time to time.

Welsh Language Standards. To the extent that they are relevant to the provision of the Services, the Company shall comply with the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 and the standards with which S4C is liable to comply in accordance with the S4C Compliance Notice, as if the Company were S4C. In particular, the Company shall send any paper correspondence addressed to S4C Employees personally in Welsh if so requested. The Company shall report to S4C promptly of any complaints of difficulties indicated by Service users or staff of the Company in delivering the Services in compliance with Welsh language obligations.

Welsh Language Standards. 2A.1 The Company shall at all times comply with the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 and the Welsh language standards with which S4C is liable to comply, as if it were S4C to the extent that the same relate to the provision of the Services. 2A.2 The Company shall deliver the Services (in accordance with the Specification) through the medium of English or Welsh (on an equal basis). 2A.3 The Company shall be responsible for promoting the delivery of the Services in Welsh or English to the Service user and shall use all reasonable steps to achieve this. 2A.4 The Company shall be responsible for monitoring the level of take-up for the Service through the medium of Welsh and English and shall report to the Authority on a bi-annual basis by providing the following information in writing: (a) The number of users requiring the Service in Welsh and English. (b) The percentage increase/decrease from the previous report. (c) The allocation of staff to deliver the Services in Welsh and English. (d) Any complaints of difficulties indicated by Service users or staff of the Company in delivering the Services in compliance with Welsh language obligations during the report period.
Welsh Language Standards. The Welsh Government and Plaid Cymru will work with the Welsh Language Commissioner during the period of this agreement to: • minimise obstacles in setting Welsh Language Standards • streamline the process for implementation of such Standards, without weakening their impact • implement standards on public transport; regulators in the health sector; newly established public bodies currently outside the Standards regime, and water companies • begin work on implementing standards on housing associations which will be completed within the Senedd term We remain jointly committed to the full implementation of the Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011 and will develop a list to prioritise the further rollout of Standards under its schedules beyond the term of this agreement. Prioritisation will take account of the facilitation of daily use of the Welsh language, changing the behaviour of institutions and giving practical effect to the linguistic rights of citizens.
Welsh Language Standards. Plan revision will be fully compliant with the Council’s Welsh Language Standards, with meeting arrangements, plans, supporting evidence, published information, correspondence and documents provided bilingually as appropriate in hard copy, on the web and electronically.

  • French Language Services If the HSP is required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, the HSP will be required to submit a French language services report to the Funder. If the HSP is not required to provide services to the public in French under the provisions of the FLSA, it will be required to provide a report to the Funder that outlines how the HSP addresses the needs of its local Francophone community.

  • English Language Learners The Charter School shall comply with all applicable federal laws and regulations relating to the provision of educational services to English Language Learners.

  • Technical Standards The Generation System shall be installed and operated by the Interconnection Customer consistent with the requirements of this Agreement; the Technical Requirements; the applicable requirements located in the National Electrical Code (NEC); the applicable standards published by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE); and local building and other applicable ordinances in effect at the time of the installation of the Generation System.

  • Suggested Language The following provides a debarment and suspension clause. It incorporates an optional method of verifying that contractors are not excluded or disqualified. (1) This contract is a covered transaction for purposes of 2 C.F.R. pt. 180 and 2 C.F.R. pt. 3000. As such, the contractor is required to verify that none of the contractor’s principals (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.995) or its affiliates (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.905) are excluded (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.940) or disqualified (defined at 2 C.F.R. § 180.935). (2) The contractor must comply with 2 C.F.R. pt. 180, subpart C and2 C.F.R. pt. 3000, subpart C, and must include a requirement to comply with these regulations in any lower tier covered transaction it enters into. (3) This certification is a material representation of fact relied upon by the Participating Public Agency. If it is later determined that the contractor did not comply with 2 C.F.R. pt. 180, subpart C and 2 C.F.R. pt. 3000, subpart C, in addition to remedies available to the Participating Public Agency, the Federal Government may pursue available remedies, including but not limited to suspension and/or debarment. (4) The bidder or proposer agrees to comply with the requirements of 2 C.F.R. pt. 180, subpart C and 2 C.F.R. pt. 3000, subpart C while this offer is valid and throughout the period of any contract that may arise from this offer. The bidder or proposer further agrees to include a provision requiring such compliance in its lower tier covered transactions.

  • Spanish Language The parties agree that, except as set forth in this Amendment, the current terms of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. All capitalized terms not defined will have the meaning given to them in the Agreement.

  • Contract Language The following language shall be included in contracts for City projects between the Consultant and any Subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers: Contractor shall not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, gender expression, gender identity, religion, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, or disability in the solicitation, selection, hiring, or treatment of subcontractors, vendors, or suppliers. Consultant shall provide equal opportunity for Subcontractors to participate in opportunities. Consultant understands and agrees that violation of this clause shall be considered a material breach of the contract and may result in contract termination, debarment, or other sanctions.

  • Manufacturing Standards All forest products except poles, produced and sold under this contract will be manufactured to maximize the amount of logs meeting preferred log lengths and to achieve the average log length listed. 97318 3 WS "WS" indicates that west side scaling rules apply. Minimum trim is 8 inches per scaling segment for west side scaling rules. "ES" indicates that east side scaling rules apply. Minimum trim is 4 inches per scaling segment for east side scaling rules. Poles produced under this contract will be manufactured to ANSI specifications (American National Standard Specifications and Dimensions for Wood Poles), in force at the time of signing this contract. a. Sweep will be limited to within the bole of the log as measured using a tape stretched between the centers of each end of the log. b. Logs approved by the state for peelers shall be chuckable with no more than a 2 inch diameter area of rot within a 5 inch diameter circle located at the center of either end of the log. c. Limbs and knots shall be cut flush, with no more than 15 percent of a log having limbs or knots over 2 inches in diameter extending more than 2 inches above the surface of the log.

  • Official Languages (a) Appointments and transfers shall be subject to the Corporate Official Languages Policy, as it may be amended from time to time. (b) The parties agree to study the feasibility of developing a program to facilitate the exchange of employees who wish to improve their proficiency in the other official language.
