Common use of Witness or Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Witness or Jury Duty. 10.01 An employee who is required by law to serve jury duty or act as a witness will be granted leave with pay. Any fee received by him/her for such duty will be remitted to the Employer. However, this Article will not apply to any personal action where the employee is the plaintiff or defendant.
