Common use of Witness or Jury Duty Clause in Contracts

Witness or Jury Duty. Employees shall suffer no loss of pay as a result of a requirement to serve on a jury or in the event they are subpoenaed to be a witness in a matter resulting from their official duties with the State. If the employee is released from jury duty early, they will return to work. In the event an employee is subpoenaed for something other than that described herein, the Agency will allow time off without pay if the employee has no accrued leave or the employee will use vacation or comp time.
