WORK AFTER HOURS. 24.01 It shall be considered a violation of this Agreement if a member of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades of America, Local Union 1439 (Painter, Drywall and Resilient Flooring Sections) carries out any trade related work for monetary gain for any person or persons other than their regular employer or employers after the regular working hours laid down in this Agreement.
WORK AFTER HOURS. 26.01 No member of Local Union 244 will do any plumbing, steamfitting, pipefitting or other connected work for any person or persons other than their regular employer or employers after the regular working hours laid down in this Agreement. Employees who violate this rule may be disciplined or discharged.
WORK AFTER HOURS. 13.01 No member of the Union will do any work or hold any job for pay on any plumbing, heating, sprinklers or pipe work for any person or persons other than his regular Employer during or after the regular working hours laid down by this agreement. Employees who violate this article shall be disciplined by the Union under the constitution of the United Association. It shall also be considered as just cause for dismissal by the Employer. Any member, who being the holder of a provincial plumbing contractor’s license and takes out a plumbing permit for the purpose of sub-contracting out the installation of plumbing system, shall become signatory to this Agreement or be subject to discipline under the United Association constitution and also be considered as just cause for dismissal.
WORK AFTER HOURS. No member of Local 625 who is regularly employed by an electrical contractor shall do any wiring or electrical work for any other person or persons outside of his regular employment.
WORK AFTER HOURS. 16.01 No employee shall be required or permitted to work at the Sheet Metal Trade after his regular working hours for another Employer and/or for monetary gain.
16.02 The Union agrees there shall be no limitations or restrictions placed upon the individual working efforts of the Employees
WORK AFTER HOURS member of the Union will do any work or hold any job for pay for any person or persons other than the employer during or after working hours laid down by this Agreement. Employees who violate this Article shall be disciplined by the Union under the constitution of the United Association and it shall also be considered as just cause for dismissal by the employer.
WORK AFTER HOURS. The District agrees that bargaining-unit employees shall not be required to monitor their work email or work telephone calls outside of their designated working hours. If a District Administrator/Manager/Supervisor contacts an employee and requires work to be done outside of a bargaining-unit employee’s designated working hours, the CSEA bargaining-unit employee will be compensated based on the time required to complete the assignment.
WORK AFTER HOURS. I The Parties agree that their mutual interests are adversely affected when persons who are currently employed under this Agreement engage in any work similar to, or connected with, the activities of the Employer after the regular working hours provided in this Agreement. Employees who undertake any such extra work for personal gain, other than on behalf of their Employer, shall be subject to the following disciplinary
I) First Occasion The employee shall be subject to a one week suspension by the Employer and the Union will take appropriate action as per their by-laws and constitution. Second Occasion Within a one year period of the last offence, the employee shall be subject to immediate dismissal by the Employer, and the Union will take appropriate action as per their by-laws and constitution. The Union will notify the Employer, in writing, of the charge and the disciplinary action taken, The employee will be held liable for any and all claims, demands suits or other forms of liability that may arise out of or by reason of his violation of this Article. Employers who are signatory to this Agreement and who by paying cash to Local members without the appropriate deductions will be held in contempt of this Agreement.
WORK AFTER HOURS. No member of the union will do any work or hold any job for pay on any plumbing, heating, sprinkler or pipe work for any person or persons other than his regular employer during or after the regular working hours laid down by this agreement. Employees who violate this article shall be disciplined by the union under the Constitution of the United Association. It shall also be considered as just cause for dismissal by the employer. Any member, who being the holder of a master plumber’s license, takes out a plumbing permit for the purpose of subcontracting out the installation of the plumbing system, shall make an application for an honourable withdrawal card or be subject to discipline for violating this collective agreement under the United Association Constitution and this shall also be considered for just cause for dismissal.
WORK AFTER HOURS. 29.01 No member of Local 625 who is regularly employed by an electrical contractor shall do any wiring or electrical work for any other person or persons outside of his regular employment.
29.02 No member of Local 625 shall procure wiring permits for other than his employer.
29.03 Providing that satisfactory evidence of violation is furnished, it is agreed that the employer will suspend an employee for not more than five (5) days on the recommendation of the Union.
29.04 Any members operating an electrical business must sign a Voluntary Recognition Agreement with Local 625, I.B.E.W.
