WORK AND LUNCH BREAKS a) When more than one employee is on shift, lunch breaks will be staggered and will be taken at or near the midpoint of the shift or as operations permit and will be one half hour. As well, employees on the night shift will take their lunch breaks at a time when employees on the afternoon shift can provide coverage (i.e. before the end of the afternoon shift). When only one employee is on shift, the lunch break will be taken at the workstation, paid at straight time and the shift will be reduced by 0.5 hour.

WORK AND LUNCH BREAKS. 18.1 Employees at New Mexico Highlands University shall have two (2) 15 minute breaks, per eight hour shift and one (1) hour unpaid lunch break.   • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Work Breaks All employees covered by this agreement shall be permitted ten (10) minutes in the first half and ten (10) minutes in the second half of a shift for a coffee break on the job during regular working hours. If extended overtime is required, additional coffee breaks shall be permitted during such overtime after each two (2) hours following the conclusion of each overtime meal break. However, for a compressed work week schedule, employees shall be permitted a break of fifteen (15) minutes in the first half and fifteen (15) minutes in the second half of such shifts.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORKING CONDITIONS 16.01 The following paragraph is intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day, or per week, or of days of work per week.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).

The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

  • WORK WEEK AND OVERTIME Section 1. The normal work week will consist of forty (40) hours. Department management will establish the work week and hours of work best suited to meet the needs of the Department and provide superior service to the community. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as a guarantee or limitation of the number of hours to be worked per week.

  • Work Loads If an employee believes the amount of work he or she is required to perform is excessive over what is required from the rest of the staff and it will result in an occupational accident or occupational injury to him or her, the question shall be referred to Section 17 of this Agreement.

  • Connecting Transmission Owner’s Scope of Work and Responsibilities The Connecting Transmission Owner will design, construct, own, operate and maintain all Connecting Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities, except as otherwise stated above and in the Project Specific Specifications. The Connecting Transmission Owner will complete all engineering reviews, field verifications and witness testing, etc. in accordance with the ESBs and the Project Specific Specifications. Connecting Transmission Owner shall provide the revenue metering CT/PT units and meter socket enclosure. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall:  provide, run, and wire both ends of the color-coded cable for the revenue metering instrument transformer secondary wiring;  perform all terminations; and  supply and install the meter. The revenue meter may require a communications link to the RTU. The Connecting Transmission Owner will specify and run those communications cables. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall complete all wiring, testing and commissioning of the RTU.
