Work Load - Counselors. Counselors shall be available for a work week and work year as scheduled by the Vice President of Student Services. If individual counselors are required to work beyond the number of duty days in the school calendar, they will be compensated at $130 per day. By July 1, the Vice President of Student Services will provide the counselors with a tentative schedule detailing their work week and work year for that fiscal year. In the event that unforeseen events necessitate changes in individual schedules, the Vice President of Student Services will notify the affected employee at the earliest possible date of the needed change.

Work Load - Counselors. Counselors will work the same academic calendar as teaching faculty, including instructional and non-instructional days as identified in the College calendar. The normal work day for counselors is seven (7) hours. During the academic year, counselors are required to work one evening per week. The Associate Vice President of Student Services may request that counselors work additional evenings, to be compensated at the overload rate. In order to ensure that peak times of student needs are covered, counselors will have an addendum to their annual contract. The addendum begins the first week in August. The annual addendum will be for a minimum of twelve (12) days to be worked during identified peak times, and may extend to twenty-four (24) days. The days identified as peak times will be determined by the Associate Vice President, with input from the counselors. The number of days included in each addendum, beyond the required twelve (12) days, will be mutually agreed upon between the Associate Vice President and the individual counselors. Counselors may opt to take flex time, rather than monetary compensation, for all or part of the work days included in the addendum. No more than one half of the work days included in the addendum may be taken in any one given semester as flex time. Flex time must be used within 12 months of the date on which it was earned.

Overload shall include any shift that no full-time or part-time counselor is regularly scheduled to work. In order to ensure that peak times of student needs are covered, counselors will have an addendum to their annual contract. The annual addendum will be for a minimum of twelve (12) days to be worked during identified peak times, and may extend to twenty-four (24) days. The days identified as peak times will be determined by the Vice President, with input from the counselors. The addendum begins four calendar weeks before the academic calendar, and attendance shall be required for the counselors. The first two weeks of the addendum are not included in the twelve (12) day minimum or twenty-four (24) day maximum. The remaining addendum days shall be included in the twelve (12) day minimum and twenty-four (24) day maximum. The number of days included in each addendum, beyond the first two weeks of the addendum and the required twelve (12) days, will be mutually agreed upon between the Vice President and the individual counselors. Missed addendum days, including the last two weeks of July, will require the use of leave time. Counselors may opt to take flex time, rather than monetary compensation, for all or part of the work days included in the addendum. No more than one half of the work days included in the addendum may be taken in any one given semester as flex time. Flex time must be used within 12 months of the date on which it was earned. During the 2021-2022 contract year representatives from the Administration and the Union shall meet at least once in the fall semester prior to December 21, 2021 and at least once in the spring semester between February 1, 2022 and May 1, 2022 in order to discuss any issues, problems and/or proposed modifications to the aforementioned schedule. Agreed-upon points shall be jointly shared with both collective bargaining teams for discussion and evaluation in the summer of 2022.

  • Contractor Project Manager The Contractor Project Manager shall serve, from the Effective Date, as the Contractor project manager and primary Contractor representative under this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall (i) have overall responsibility for managing and coordinating the performance of Contractor’s obligations under this Agreement, including the performance of all Subcontractors; and (ii) be authorized to act for and bind Contractor and Subcontractors in connection with all aspects of this Agreement. The Contractor Project Manager shall respond promptly and fully to all inquiries from the JBE Project Manager.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Work Load The professional obligation of academic employees comprises both scheduled and non-scheduled activities. The Guild and the District recognize that it is part of the professional responsibility of faculty to carry out their duties in an appropriate manner and place. As part of this responsibility faculty are expected to play an important role in the recruitment and retention of students, campus and departmental governance, program review, accreditation, planning and mentoring. Faculty commitment to retention will be demonstrated by informing students that they are to talk with the instructor prior to dropping the course. Faculty are encouraged to include a statement to this effect in their course syllabi. While it is understood that course syllabi content falls within the purview of the individual faculty member’s academic freedom, the parties also understand that items required to be part of syllabi in order to maintain college or continuing education accreditation must also be included. Tenured/tenure-track faculty who have less than a full-time contract are not eligible to work any additional assignments including long-term substitution (day-to-day substitution is allowed provided the limits specified in Section 5.2.1.3 are not exceeded). Faculty assignments shall be made in the following priority order: Tenured/tenure-track, pro- rata, overload, Priority of Assignment (POA) adjunct faculty assignments, then non-POA adjunct faculty.

  • Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services are not permitted to be provided under this Agreement. Texas statutes prohibit the procurement of Professional Engineering and Architect’s Services through a cooperative agreement.

  • Work Loads If an employee believes the amount of work he or she is required to perform is excessive over what is required from the rest of the staff and it will result in an occupational accident or occupational injury to him or her, the question shall be referred to Section 17 of this Agreement.

  • Building Services Labor Law Article 9 applies to Contracts for building service work over $1,500 with a public agency, that: (i) involve the care or maintenance of an existing building, or (ii) involve the transportation of office furniture or equipment to or from such building, or (iii) involve the transportation and delivery of fossil fuel to such building, and (iv) the principal purpose of which is to furnish services through use of building service employees.

  • Janitorial Services Tenant will not employ any person for the purpose of cleaning the Premises or permit any person to enter the Building for such purpose other than Landlord's janitorial service, except with Landlord's prior written consent. Tenant will not necessitate, and will be liable for the cost of, any undue amount of janitorial labor by reason of Tenant's carelessness in or indifference to the preservation of good order and cleanliness in the Premises. Janitorial service will not be furnished to areas in the Premises on nights when such areas are occupied after 9:30 p.m., unless such service is extended by written agreement to a later hour in specifically designated areas of the Premises.

  • Configuration Management The Contractor shall maintain a configuration management program, which shall provide for the administrative and functional systems necessary for configuration identification, control, status accounting and reporting, to ensure configuration identity with the UCEU and associated cables produced by the Contractor. The Contractor shall maintain a Contractor approved Configuration Management Plan that complies with ANSI/EIA-649 2011. Notwithstanding ANSI/EIA-649 2011, the Contractor’s configuration management program shall comply with the VLS Configuration Management Plans, TL130-AD-PLN-010-VLS, and shall comply with the following:

  • AIN Selective Carrier Routing for Operator Services, Directory Assistance and Repair Centers 4.3.1 BellSouth will provide AIN Selective Carrier Routing at the request of <<customer_name>>. AIN Selective Carrier Routing will provide <<customer_name>> with the capability of routing operator calls, 0+ and 0- and 0+ NPA (LNPA) 555-1212 directory assistance, 1+411 directory assistance and 611 repair center calls to pre-selected destinations.

  • Work Location While employed by the Company hereunder, the Executive shall perform his duties (when not traveling or engaged elsewhere in the performance of his duties) at the offices of the Company in Bermuda. The Executive shall travel to such places on the business of the Company in such manner and on such occasions as the Company may from time to time reasonably require.
