WorkSafe BC Coverage. 9.1 The Municipality acknowledges and agrees that they have reviewed and understand the occupational health and safety obligations pursuant to the Workers Compensation Act and regulations. 9.2 The Municipality is responsible for obtaining and maintaining Workers Compensation coverage and will abide by all provisions of the Workers Compensation Act and Regulations. 9.3 Prior to undertaking the Services outlined in this Agreement, the Municipality will provide the TNRD with their Workers’ Compensation Board Number and a clearance letter from WorkSafeBC. 9.4 Where the Municipality is delinquent in WorkSafeBC assessments or coverage, the outstanding assessment will be deducted from their payment and paid to WorkSafeBC on their behalf.

WorkSafe BC Coverage. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to make his own arrangements for WorkSafe BC coverage. Activities under the Contract shall be carried out at all times in conformity with the WorkSafe BC Health and Safety Regulations. Confirmation of coverage and status of account must be submitted to the Region within 30 days of Agreement assignment.

Prior to undertaking the Services outlined in this Agreement, the Municipality will provide the Band with their Workers’ Compensation Board Number and a clearance letter from WorkSafeBC.
WorkSafe BC Coverage. The Contractor shall apply to WorkSafe BC for coverage and shall provide evidence of WorkSafe’s decision in this regard to the Town within one (1) business day of receiving notice of the decision.
WorkSafe BC Coverage a) A Regular Full-time and a Regular Part-time employee whose claim for WorkSafe BC temporary disability benefits is accepted by WorkSafe BC, will assign all monies received from WorkSafe BC to the Employers and the Employers will pay the employee's approximate net salary calculated on his classified rate of pay. If WorkSafe BC disallows an employee's claim, or if an employee has not had his WorkSafe BC claim accepted, the Employers will pay full regular salary to the employee until the employee's Sick Leave, gratuity, vacation, overtime, and other credits are exhausted. b) Where a Regular Full-time employee and a Regular Part-time employee becomes entitled to WorkSafe BC coverage and payment is not made for the first day or part day, such day or part day will be paid by the Employers.

  • All Coverages Each insurance policy required in this item shall be endorsed to state that coverage shall not be suspended, voided, cancelled, reduced in coverage or in limits except after thirty (30) days' prior written notice by certified mail, return receipt requested, has been given to the Town. Current certification of such insurance shall be kept on file at all times during the term of this agreement with the Town Clerk.
