Workshop Results. The ICEGOV Workshop entitled “Framing Government 3.0: Concepts and research objectives” took place on 3 April 2018 in Galway, Ireland. In total, 18 experts who were either themselves public officials, consultants or scholars from the field of e-Governance participated in this workshop. Originally, the issue of e-Governance science field raised. Can e-Governance be established as a science field and which are the essential ingredients? Basic ingredients of e-Governance are new ICT technologies, new paradigms in combination with sociology and political sciences. Given the multidisciplinary nature of e-Governance, several gaps appear that should be enclosed in the research perspective. Thereinafter, the elements of different types of e-Government have been provided.

Workshop Results. For each project, results were presented for cost impact, sustainability impact, barriers for im- plementation and social acceptance after implementation. The results described below repre- sent subjective evaluation of the respective impacts selected by the workshop participants. The aim was to learn from the participants’ knowledge on specific case studies including in- formation that was not assessed scientifically, but was observed during implementation of the case studies. 2.2.1. XXXXXX This project discussed the study case of cropping black locust in short rotation coppice on marginal land in Lusatia/Germany and Thrace/Greece. Black locust (robinia pseudoacacia) was grown on 2 different types of marginal land: post-mining and abandoned land (grass- land) in Germany and Greece, respectively. In addition to labour costs, initial investments of new machinery and setup of an irrigation system (only in Greece irrigation was needed) were identified to have the highest impact on biomass production costs. The insurance for black locust SRC on marginal land was also ex- pected to have high impact on feedstock production costs. Rather medium effects were at- tributed to fossil fuel consumption and monitoring as well as initial training and capacity de- velopment. Variable costs of irrigation water, pesticides, and herbicides had low impact on to- tal biomass production costs.
Workshop Results. The explorative and generative workshops based on the method of co-design allowed the research team to actively involve people in research activities and knowledge creation highlighting their desires and aspirations for the construction of new possible futures. Involving people using a co- design approach allowed the research team to be in empathy with people, to have meaningful conversations with them and to collect their ideas regarding the impact of DiDIY on the Legal System field. The importance of involving competent profiles active on the topics treated emerges from this, in order to collect significant data that can contribute to the specific research carried out by the leader partner of the WP6 on Legal System. The section presents the data collected at the explorative and generative workshops on DiDIY&Legal System held in Milan. In particular, the explorative workshop allowed collecting the fundamental elements that the people involved deemed were qualifying for XxXXX, together with a series of challenges that tackle real needs in the area of education. The generative workshop, on the other hand, provided answers in terms of possible scenarios and benefits generated, to some of the challenges selected. Paragraph 7.3 relates the process of processing the data which emerged from the explorative workshops held in Italy in the four areas investigated by the project, made by the research team in order to identify the fundamental factors of DiDIY common to the 4 areas and the fundamental factors of DiDIY specific for each area. The section ends highlighting the contribution made by the co-design workshops to the research of the WP6 on Legal System.
